Big discs make a massive difference, I doubt you would need to go bigger than 315mm though, matched with a set of AP racing or Brembo 4 pots you will have no fade at all.

For the most part performance filters dont filter anywhere near as good as the std paper type anyway so its unlikely its doing anymore damage, if you are worried put the std one back on.
