Ive been told by a mitsi dealer that they wont take rovers anymore and the one they have on the forcourt has dropped in value by 50% since the collapse :o
No more than £40 with a dent doctor, I had a big one taken out where mine got trollyed low on the 1/4 and two on the doors for £40.
He was working for about 1.5hrs.
They are designed to be nervous and relatively unstable its these characteristics that make it change direction and handle so well.
Also its why loads get crashed, mainly by people who think they can drive!
My advice would be to just build your experience and it will become second nature...
Should have bought a type r, you will regret it big time because the dealers are crap and resale value is non existant.
My advice would be to cancel while you can.
Dont get me wrong they drive great but the -s far out weigh the +s.
My mate has buggered his williams what do you guys reckon clutch or gearbox?
No forward motion
Clutch pedal is fine
Selects all gears fine with no noises
No metal swarf in the box as the gearbox oil has been dropped
Both driveshafts are OK

The dealers diagnostics equipment programs them.
They also control the imobiliser etc, According to the dealer once programmed thats it, it cant be used on another car.
Mine was at the dealers for 3 months with UCH problems they tried about a dozen before they could get one to work.
I would say around 790ish with work.
No under seal
No door innerds
No dash
Polycarb windows
F/Glass bonnet boot and doors
Remove every unwanted bracket
One seat and belts
Magnesium 15" alloys
No heater, just a heated front screen
Bare minimum wiring
Plate the sunroof (if...
Check the passenger side floor area to so if it is or has been wet, mine was but only realised after it killed the UCH (ECU type thing).
A leak on the bulkhead area went straight into the UCH stopping the wipers and causing the windows to open and close at random. All the relays around that...
I may have got the wrong end of the stick, but am i correct in thinking your just bolting it straight through the floor with nut/washers underneath?
ie no reinforcment as per std.
