But if you do a search, weve talked about it.
No point, reverting to low pressure fuel system, lack of tractability, induction of hot air if not sorted properly, lack of space so short runner length (you cant mount DOCEs more than 12 deg due to...

ok, you meant you moved the plastic drip tray, not black metal bit ;) didnt you! lol
And you said oil poured out when the selector rod (am assuming you were reffering to the rod on the right) was pulled down. Did it come off the tray, or actually OUT of the selector rod hole?
Or can you see...
had that then my bearing went, if the noise gets worse, then a whine appears, a bearing.
But it could be a multitude of things, like loose caliper or carrier, spring, bushes, ball joints etc etc.
Youll have to inspect my friend.
huh?
The top grille on a MK2 is:
82 00 083 138 FRT GRILL C2 40.79 ---3 x 1
and the bottom bumper grille is:
60 00 073 773 RADIATOR GRILLEC2 55.50 ---3 x 1
i thought you said it had a carrier already?
Any electronisc place should be able to put a carrier in your old one if it aint got one. Then you just press it in.
sounds like the seal on the selector rod has gone, but it shouldnt b hanging down. It moves about 1/2" between neautral and all the upgate and lower gate, but it shouldnt dribble or pour oil.
Was it comming out the actual hole int eh casing the selector goes into?
It cant be a left side bearing or sticky brake as it might seem with the accelerate left lunge. Or itll lunge left under accel. Im thinking its the right damper too soft.
Or a multitude of bushes/play.......rod end on the left side?
have you got each damper setup the same, sounds like your right damper is softer than the left.
Right now, it sounds like he right hand side of the car is causing the problem, probably to do with suspension movement.
There is only once chip you replace.
Its slap bang in the middle of the board, and taking it depends if they put in a chip socket or if it soldered on direct.
Its the chip which has a little indent on one of the long ends, make sure you put it back the same way.
