Going to do a brake refresh as they seem a bit tired at the moment. Fluid was done just over two years ago, but I stupidly only used some Carlube stuff due to a tight budget at the time, so I've just ordered some ATE Super blue. Going to also fit new bleed nipples.
The front pads and discs...
Cheers for the replies. I'm thinking of buying a battery anyway seeing as it's the original and the first time it happened I heard the clicking noise. Any particular batteries to avoid or preferred?
My girlfriend has had a starting issue three times in the last two days where the car has failed to start on three occasisons, then starts and runs fine (once it started ok, ran for five mins then was left and failed to start first time). I've just took it out (the car was warm having failed to...
Did you cure this? My girlfriend has had a starting issue three times in the last two days where the car has failed to start on three occasisons, then starts and runs fine. I've just took it out (the car was warm having failed to start first from cold this morning, then after a five minute run)...
TBF it scrubs up quite well for it's age and Black Gold when clean, polished and it's quite sunny is a really nice colour. Like all black cars it shows every little mark when you're close though. I haven't seen your car about for ages.
You haven't looked close enough! front bumper is in desperate need of a respray for a start. I did polish it for the first time in a year two weeks ago though (used to get done at least once a month before I moved down here).
Fitted the centre exhaust hanger I'd Tiger sealed.
fixed the gearstick gaitor after the two rear prongs had snapped off.
Hoovered it out.
Polished yet another scuff/scratch out of the rear bumper :(
Drove it for the first time since Monday.
The RS ones are about £50, even second hand some were going for £40. I managed to get some genuine Renault ones from eBay for £20 delivered. Not as good, but almost a year on they still look relatively new.
Like this, but obviously cheaper...
Just bought my third rear wiper blade in just over two years. Realised the bosch one I bought about six months ago wasn't working well and on inspection it was badly split in two places. I haven't been buying cheap eBay stuff. Trico, Bosch and now I thought I'd try Valeo. Not exactly massive...
So the high build epoxy then something on top of that? I'll get some 2k primer if need be, I was just trying to save on the hassle of cleaning the gun inbetween as I only have one.
Yeah I got some 205-110 in the end to do all the wheels, it's probably matched rather than being Ixell (Autopaint...
Painted a couple of wheels a few weeks ago using my compressor and spray gun and I'm pretty pleased with the results. When doing so I used some left over primer I had off ages ago for a couple of small areas which needed filling (was given to me) and I had no idea what type it was, but it seemed...
Mansfield Road Doncaster. Drove past when I was removing the front wheel from my car. Looked to be having a good look, so I was guessing they were RS enthusiasts or interested someway.
I was flyered once when I first moved down, in Ikea distribution car park, but since then I've not seen owt. But I've actually been a member almost since I got the car in 2008.
It was a very very tidy BG before I moved down here, but I lived in the town centre for a year and then moved out here...
