Good stuff and that does look clean. I nearly went the Jap route after giving up on a mk2 GTi 16v, but looks wise the CTR did nothing for me. Got to say the Clio I've got is by far the funniest little car I've driven, not as fast as the mapped Gti 20VT my mate had which I also thought about, but...
Heard allsorts of mad stuff about different voltages and burning other plugs out within weeks on here, especially Super 4's - the standard ones can be bought off eBay for a fraction of the price Renault charge too.
Just read the thread from start to finished - thought half it had gone missing when I saw how quickly it was getting done!
Nice it's been repaired and kept on the road though, thought it would have been wrote off after the pics.
And what about the council worker? I can understand it would...
Haven't noticed any difference on whatever I run it on, didn't make any difference when I changed the plugs on 34k either - only thing that seems to make a difference on mine is the how hot/cold it is that day and what the air is like.
I'm due to renew my car insurance on my 182 on the 29th and for the first time ever I've got mods and I'm going to declare them.
The only mod I currently have is my Eibach springs (which apparently lower it 15mm from standard), I'm 35, have five years no claims and I'm getting quotes around...
I've just phoned Eurocarparts up and they said although they list them on the website, they dont actually do them as there's about six different lengths and so what I have to do is go to the main dealers after I've took the cable off and they'd match it up - wtf?
Has anyone got any suggestions...
I've just done something similar but it's not light enough to check - the handbrake is still working though, but the lever seems quite weak - is the cable in two parts or something?
I'm just about to get some plugs for my 182 and I've read a bit about the OEM NGK ones being the best, but before I do so I want to make sure they're the right ones.
