Regarding the prices your a bit off the discs can be had for nearly the same price as the normal 1*2.
I already had to replace 1 caliper (bleed niple broke off) and both discs for the mot in 2 months (i only had to buy a extra caliper realy ......).
And again regarding the pads i have explained...
Well allthough the discs/pads are not here yet im still able to give you guys an update on this project.
I mounted the calipers and tested out the fitting with different size wheels.
Allot of the doubters will be convinced with this info :D
Standard/Before :
16" With the "New" Espace...
Well i probably have some bad news guys, the fedex screwed up the delivery of the pads and discs there still in paris while the were scheduled for delivery today. Officially the day isn't over yet, but it would be pretty amazing if this was delivered here today .
This means that i can mount...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Thanks Rob, ill see if i can fix up an other seal but this probably is size restriced. I don't have them near me atm.
I got a request for you, can you remove the "-> Wich Discs ?" part on the topic subject, seems better suited now :approve:
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
I can't wait to put them on tomorrow, assuming the courier delivers the goods on time (scheduled for today) .......
At one of the pistons on my calipers there was a small hole in the dustcover (rubber surrounding the cilinder) i assume...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Thats all down to the offset of the wheel your using. I can shad some light on this after there mounted.
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Those might be the same aswell yes, ask them if there 2 pots if so there is a 9/10 chance there the same.
But always compare the part numbers on the calipers (just to be sure).
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
The discs an pads are realy doable might even be cheaper than the normal parts 172/182 here in the netherlands ... lol
I asked some scrap yards for the prices on some used scenic 300mm discs.
They where asking for more than i payed for my...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Ok will do, i have the standard oz f1 phase 1 spare tire. Good test because it got the most used offset on these cars.
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
You need the calipers of the mk3 espace, mine where from a 3.0 v6 but the dci should probably have the same.
Regarding the discs thats correct.
I cannot confirm the pads yet, i ordered them a few days ago and they are on its way now with...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Sure will keep you guys up to date during the entire process.
The pads i ordered are these : http://bremboaftermarket.com/En/Car_Disc_Catalogue/Catalogue_Detail.aspx?ApplicationIDMaster=20336
Part number : P68026
According to several...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
The exact same setup (Brembo pads/discs) is on its way to me as we speak (should be here friday).
I can confirm if the pads fit that evening, fitment of the whole setup probably saturday.
Personally i would buy some new decent tires in 195/45/16.
The toyo's can only be a good pair with these cars in the dry get them wet and you'll be pissing your pants whenever you press the gas pedal :(
Assuming your going to part with the 182 wheels, makes them easier to sell with tires.
The...
Check this -> and you can buy the vmaxx for less than the ktecs ;)

Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Exactly i linked to his article in the 1st post. In his topic though its clearly mentioned that its a direct fit so im assuming it is, but if a few spacers are needed thats not a real issue ;). I'm aware that there aren't any realy high...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Ok good thing i ordered the brembo's then :approve:. Allthough i always thought that Zimmerman was pretty high quality .....
I agree the amount of fun you have with these cars is partially due too some good tires.
Also due to the average size of the alloys we use on these cars the tires are not that expensive at all to begin with.
And due to the high amount of cars that use the same sizes there is allot of competition...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
I just ordered the Brembo HC discs. Will share my findings with you guys offcourse, but it can take up to a week till i have time to mount them though :(.
Its definatelly a cheap upgrade i only paid 70 pounds for the 2 calipers
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Ok, thats makes it official -> Mtec ones off my list.
There are also Zimmerman (German Quality) ones i only have to check what they cost and what the part number is.
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Nice ! there are a few on ebay aswell.
Regarding the dics, read on the forum that your not realy a fan of the mtec ones ?
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
I think its going to be a min. of 16" with these, the difference in size is too big of an increase.
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Just checked the hose and can confirm it fits straight on.
Seems like these cars a ment to be paired with these calipers :D
Im running 16" F1's with spacers so enough space to fit these.
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Well according to the specs it should fit.
Clearly says : "300mm x 24mm 4 stud vented discs"
Regarding the master cylinder, everyone i asked told me it was no problem.
The guy from the 1st post link also said that it would work, so im...
