    my cars acceleration

Think this is the closest solution:- Guys, on a level road try lifting the clutch pedal very slowly to start the car moving without giving any gas! I`m thinking it might be something to do with the fly-by throttle in some cases. Mine happens if i actually use the throttle whilst im lifting the...

    my cars acceleration

Sat in traffic for nearly an hour today and I am sure this problem is getting worse! Cannot afford a CLIP test until the end of the month so any help appreciated. Idle is very rough (missing badly) and problems only during low revs (i.e. between 500rpm and 1500rpm). No stalling though unless...

Are the home U380 readers any good to diagnose this type of issues or still a trip to the stealers? Cheers

advice on cv boot and rear shock

Fitted jubilee clip as the standard metal clip had weakened and released a stack of grease! Used a 100mm one and worked a treat!

Odd clocking noise on full lock

Found the problem with mine, very weird sensation when full lock to left or right. Took front wheel off and lots of grease everywhere! Outer CV boot the problem!

    Cv boot leak around clip

Have the pleasure of cleaning mine tomorrow when I try and clean the grease which has spilled out. Managed to get 2 100mm jubilee clips and wondering if they will be too thick to tighten the rubber boot to the shaft? The only ones my local parts centre had were 12mm. Will these be ok? Have...

Going from a Cup to Full fat?

I would miss all the extras on the FF especially with the high miles I drive daily. With the range of mods available the FF can also be pushed to high limits (obviously more expensive as it is cheap to simply lose weight). Still, not driven a Cup so do not know what the speed differences are...

    The Ph-Rep...

ps. I work in insurance claim industry and assume you were injured in the accident? If you were not only will you get the value for your car, a setup funded by all insurers (see MIB) allows you to pursue an injury claim in the event of an uninsured / untraced driver ;)
