    Much better rolling road performance!

Okay, fair enough, im well aware of the pros/cons of a rolling road. My only though was that, being a '172' id be doing some investigations into why its potentially down on power ...

    Much better rolling road performance!

Mine was also done on a Dyno Dynamics r.road at 'Surrey Rolling Road' who are an independent, ie non-tuning company, so have nothing to prove ... Result: 148bhp @ wheels and 177bhp @ fly - so to be honest, whilst there is an obvious improvement with the map, id be looking into why its...

    Opinions...

The cup is better in every way, faster, edgier, nervous(er), fun(er) ... but it has no abs and no creature comforts. If your the type of person who likes creature comforts and the backup of safety, ie TC & abs, buy a normal one. If you just want a track car, thats a giggle everytime you drive...

    Opinions...

If you have to ask which one to buy ... i suggest you buy a 'normal' 172 ;)

ITG Maxogen - What's so good about it?

1st point: There is no listing for a fibreglass ITG airbox based on the AB65 design, ie the one that fits the 172/182. If there is, please point it out ... i wanted a maxogen but wasnt paying £370 :S 2nd point: I have a V6 airbox (which is different to the ph1 airbox in that the inlet is...

Earmarked £1500 for my 172 Ideas guys?

AKA ditchfinders. Mine had brand new Pirellis on it when i bought it; i literally threw them away as it felt horrible. Have Conti Sports now and its at least 100 x better :)

Earmarked £1500 for my 172 Ideas guys?

A good set of matched tyres all round is your first priority. Why spend £1200 on AST's then drive on Nankangs ..... ;)
  25. Sir_Dave

ITG Maxogen - What's so good about it?

The price is due to the poncy finish, just buy a V6 airbox - does the same ;)
  26. Sir_Dave

Rolling road proof - homemade Maxogen and no power steering = ?

Mine must be super healthy then, 177bhp with just a Ktec cat-back & V6 airbox ... cant wait to get a de-cat & remap after the MOT in March :D

    rs owners...who insures you?

£480 FC inc. business use with Adrian Flux, HIC (being the same company) were the same. Would have been £1800 if i i had wanted the 'free' track cover lol, they neglect to mention that only 2 of their insurers will do it ... and they're the most expensive ones, so its not free at all ....
