In my opinion, SSD.
Biggest bottleneck in any system, within reason, is spinning media. When you have to load something or open a new application, it has to fetch it from the disk and place into RAM, so to speed it up you can implement much faster storage. That being said, if you don't have...
Is 400 quid your absolute maximum budget? You'd be able to buy a reasonable system for that but for peripherals on-top, e.g. a monitor, it may push the budget.
Really not going to help you but as I have an Android phone and my Mrs has an iPhone, I got a Samsung TV (for Android mirroring) and Apple TV for iPhone/iPad screen mirroring. Best of both worlds.

Thanks for your replies, both. 550lb was the recommendation from Gaz when I told them my requirements... the car is pure track, not for the road, ever. I think the SPAX come with 400lb springs, they may be fine. All I know is that the GAZ GHA's were surprisingly good on track but the springs...
Hi All
As per the topic, does anyone know whether coilover springs are typically interchangeable between manufacturers? I just bought a set of SPAX RSX but have a set of Gaz 550lb springs that I was going to fit on the track car. I can't do any measurements yet as they haven't arrived but was...
I've had a number of K0x turbo's in my old Ibiza.
Started off with a K03, around 200bhp is the norm for a mapped car. k03s you'll see max around 240-250bhp. k04 a lot more.
Anyone still mining LTC? Is the difficulty too high now to make it worth it? I've got a lot of equipment I could put towards mining, just not sure whether it's still worth looking at
Hmm, not sure to be honest. It may be too long... am trying to remember but not having seen a 182 cat it's a bit difficult ;-)
If the 182 cat is longer than a 182 manifold to 172 exhaust link pipe then you're gonna have problems!
Hi Karl,
No, it won't fit. The 182 manifold comes down a lot further than the 172 manifold does, therefore you cannot use the standard middle/cat sections, you have to get the modified section to marry the manifold and the exhaust.
I've got the 182 manifold on my 172 Cup, I had to use a joiner...
Hi All,
Working on some engine upgrades for the new year, want to take the engine to the next level - to me, that means ITB's, cams and management. The car is pure track now, no tax discs, MOT's or insurance here! Most of the labour I'll do myself, so what I'd really appreciate is some insights...
Hi Nick, hope you're well mate...
Yeah the Gaz are alright, could do with stiffer springs though! OK that's a fair point, need to figure out which direction it would need to be slotted in, i.e. if it's parallel or diagonal away from the original bolt hole etc.
Hi All,
I've got a set of GAZ coilovers on my car, not the best but we've had a lot of fun on track. I've combined this with some solid top mounts (K-tec) and Eibach camber bolts but I've only been able to get around -2 degrees, no matter how much playing around or slackening off... perhaps I'm...
Lol, this. It's a Clio, not an antique Ferrari.
I can see why you'd want to take care of the car but it's just a few months, disconnect battery, leave handbrake off and perhaps leave in gear.
I did, only because the exhaust manifold runs right next to the brake lines. I couldn't tell you whether it made a difference as I hadn't driven it on the track before I wrapped the exhaust. But, every little helps!
