Hi all,
Well I 'think' my cambelt went this morning.
Just left home literally 500 yards from home changed down into second and there was a splutter/ cough possibly a bang (window down and tunes on so not sure) total loss of power all dash lights on and then coasted to the side of the road...
Hi Mate - I have one you can borrow if you make me up one! I recently bought a pair but due to our wonderfull post office only 1 turned up!
I presume they are not handed (?) - give me a shout if you are up for it.
Dave.
I have recently bought a 1000D with 2 bags, 8gig sd card and a tripod delivered £150. Ebay ftw. Seems a really good camera, its just a shame about the bloke behind it!
No one likes my momo wheel then:( its better than the melted knackered renault wheel.
Managed to get a few more pics today, not sure what I was really doing with the camera but pics look ok but Im sure they could be better....
With polarising filter iirc

Re: New Car Thread
If you like it mate thats what matters - Ive always liked the vectras, one of my mates has a diesel which funny enough is black as well, lowered it 40mm nice set of rims and irmscher front grill it looks pretty good! Nice n comfy even with the lows.
I made a KTR copy as per artic clio with a pipercross filter(not the same one as him) and the 90 deg bend and it sounds mental on full chat, cost me about £40 all in - bargin!
After taking the airbag clips off the airbag did you clip the clip back together? if so they wont fit, undo it then they will fit - it is tight but they do go.
Interesting thread - thinking of taking the plunge as well - looking at a cannon 400D - could I get good motorsport shots with it;)
+ is it a good camera to start with?
Sorry op for jumping into your thread!
A resistor in each airbag plug - fold about 5-6mm over each end and then put into plug, then fold the resistor down flat onto the plug and tape it up to secure it all.
Hi mate - roughly 10-15 min per stage - just take your time and go easy round the edges - it is easy for it to kick and you could mark the paintwork.
I used a 1500 rpm cordless but run both batteries out before I could finish both lights, then I used a corded drill rate at 3100 rpm but it had...
Using a stanly knife cut the top of the lugs off so it will sit flat against the underside of your bumper.
then mark middle of the splitter and the middle of the bumper and then work your way from the middle out - i would self tapper every other lug.
When you get to the ends just trim the...
