But as...
Ive had panasonic Lumixs for the last couple of camera's - I like them, currently have a TZ30 - takes a good pic, nice big zoom, HD,, gps, touchscreen etc etc but pocket friendly.
Car must sound awful if only running on 2 injectors? To have 2 at the same time knackered seems unlikely(I've had 2 in a month go though!) see if you can lay your hands on a second hand rail and 4 injectors - then you can play around with them a bit. You will need to get it plugged in somewhere...
Yep sounds like injector - take the guard/ cover thing off and with the engine running unplug each injector one at a time to see when it makes no difference to the running of the engine. New/ second hand injector, jobs a good un.
I've had 2 injectors fail in a month now!
Dave.
Will need to get it reset mate - best bet is to buy one of the cheap ebay fault code readers - they can reset the eml - £20-£25. Will be handy for the future as well......
Out in the car today and it started playing up running ok then missing and running on 3. Managed to limp home. Suspected an injector and low and behold when the car was running taking the plug off no.3 injector made no difference to the running of the car - mate then popped around with his fault...
Borrowed one of the cheapy ebay jobs off a mate (very similar looking to the one in the link) and it worked a treat - correctly diagnosed faulty no 4 injector and then I used it to clear the engine management light - bargin (especially as I borrowed it!) For £20-£25 you cant go wrong.
Well fixed the drivers seat today - bit fiddly but got there in the end and found £3.20 whilst doing it so result!
Next up is to sort the temp gauge - 42 Deg C today.....
Also steamy windows - no wet carpets any where? boot was wet but dried that out and silliconed the plugs near the lights...
Hmm tricky - overall just about - the rallye felt more planted especially @ speed but outright speed and handling around the twisty stuff the clio just has the edge.
Well after defecting from Peugeot hot hatches I've now had the clio about 3 months and its been a fairly busy 3 months.......
So after getting the car (swopped for a 306 Rallye) gave it a good clean, clear side repeater lenses, KN panel filter and a aftermarket h/u were fitted fairly quickly...
I did an injector the other day for the first time - easy peasy - just take your time - for info I bought a rail and 4 injectors for £25 so there are some bargins out there...
Lol I have exactly this atm - been meaning to take a pic of the car frosted up and then the temp gauge - been getting readings from 28deg c to 35 deg c.
Is it the mirror or wiring loom ie in or around the passenger door?
Ah nice one - thought I had'nt seen it for a few days - is a nice car and that 5k kick is:cool: lol on the aircon!
Will have to arrange a mini Yeovil meet - Daz rt on here has just picked up a ph1 172 and i guess there are a few more around.
Any plans for it? Headlights were a bit murky iirc...
What time was it mate? i went through at about 7.40 am must of just missed it - roads were damn slippy this morning!
As usual they had'nt gritted the dual carriageway, tossers.
Try the injectors mate - unplug one at a time and see when one doesnt make any difference to the running of the engine, I had this happen this week - second hand injector and all sorted.
Sorted! Picked up a rail and 4 injectors - swopped one over and runs perfect, then used my mates fault code reader and erased the fault code - all good, thanks for the help, much appreciated.
Dave:cool:
