I'm from Portsmouth, but my girlfriend lives in Syston, so I was just up for the weekend to see her. I was at Loughborough Uni for 5 years, so I know the area pretty well.
OMG that was me and my missus! We were looking for the Shell garage on London Road as the Uppingham one was shut. I didn't notice you as I was looking out for that speed camera!
It's like trying to get blood from a stone tbh. I've just about given up and resigned myself to the fact that I'll have to go elsewhere for shocks.
Oh well........ at least now I've got no excuse to not get coilovers! :D
My NSR shock absorber has blown. The car is 2 years old. The Renault dealer is saying that the shock is no longer under warranty, and so they won't change it without charging me. Are they right, as I can't find the terms and conditions of my warranty anywhere?
What's the point in a 3 year...
Yes you can. Mine is in as we speak having the rocker/cam cover gasket replaced under warranty. They've taken 3 days about it, but that's another story!
Well I've seen some Pioneer direct replacement front speakers designed especially for renaults, which have the mid for the door, and the tweeter for the dash. I wonder if somebody could write a little "how-to" guide on how to remove the top of the dash, then I could get these and fit them! :D
If you get the extra GPS antenna, phone them and ask for the longer one, which is 5m, otherwise you'll get the 2m one, which is no good. They're the same price.
The first thing I bought for my 182 was Renault roof bars so I could go biking. The best thing about having your bike on the roof is that everyone assumes you're going to be going really slowly, so the look on their faces when you you blast past them is brilliant!
I love the way my Xenons illuminate the white road markings and make them sparkle. You never get that with Halogens.
Like someone said earlier - loving the way they "ping" on with that little flicker!
