Sewards was where I took mine. I'm fed up with that garage tbh - what with them refusing to change my shocks under warranty, and generally taking their sweet ass time over things!
I got mine done under warranty. I asked them to do both, but they only did one. It makes no sense to only do one if they have to remove the bumper anyway!
Greenstuff are great for fast road use, but they're quite soft.
If you do the odd trackday/drive like a loon, then go for Redstuffs. They're a bit harder, so will last longer, although they're not so great from cold as the Greenstuffs.
IIRC, Yellowstuffs are like full race pads, so probably...
Mike @ Rentech put the same combo on my 182 at the last service. They're a hell of an improvement over the OE jobbies - mind you, I was down to the metal backing on my OE pads, so that might explain why! :o
Fred - what are these new shockers you're getting in, as I'm in need of some new ones?
Ahh that's why all the Michelin runners in last year's WRC are on BF Goodrich then!
As for tyres, I'm tempted to try Eagle F1s on the 182. I had them on my old 306 and they are outstanding.
25 (today :D), 8 years NCB, no accidents or points, fully comp with Adrian Flux - £535 (with ClioSport discount).
Although Greenlight were about the same.
Jesus that's bad. The only plus side is that it may be written off. Like others have said, I'll keep an eye out on Ebay too. Hope you get it resolved as quickly as possible.
LOL I was reading this last night at about 10pm, and thought I'd give it a go, so I went to the garage but couldn't find any wire wool, so I used a really old sponge with a scouring pad on the back, and a load of stainless steel polish. Mine were really badly stained around the edge, but now...
The dealer put 3 of them on my 182 instead of PE2s. They're not too bad considering. I've done 12000 miles and 2 track days and there's still 4-5mm left!
