Stef - Why not take your motor down to Mike @ Rentech in Portsmouth for a service? Others on here have only had the nicest things to say about him and his work. :D
Really gutted for you matey. If it helps I'll keep an eye out down on the south coast, and the east midlands (I travel alot between the two). Let us know what the police say/find.
I must admit I was thinking about going for a Focus ST at some point, but just like you, every time I think the Clio is getting a bit boring, it finds a way to remind me why it's so fantastic!!!
Yeah I agree - far too expensive. I do like it though. There are some really neat touches.
The interior is pretty spartan, but I wonder if that may change slightly before it goes on sale?
I'm not sure I'll trade in the 182 for it yet though - I've got my eye on one of those Focus ST things...
Grrrr........I got so angry I felt like I could have smashed the car up with a sledgehammer!!!!!!
I see the funny side now though!
I dropped the first one, got pi**sed off, then the next one, and got even more pi**ed off. Then when I went to put the remaining ones back, I dropped...
I was changing my tax disc, and I dropped 3 screws from it, down the air vents! So frustrating, but how do I get them out? Where does the pipe from the screen vents go to? Any suggestions greatly appreciated guys.
Thing is, the new RA Plus only really has the added benefit of being battery powered, but to me that would mean the hassle of turning it on and off every time I got in the car, whereas my cigarette lighter socket does that job for me whenever I turn the key. :D
Yeah I got that letter too! Really annoying thing is, I just paid for my subscriptions, then 2 weeks later I get the upgrade offer letter, and it says that they won't transfer your subscriptions to your new unit, even if they're lifetime! Looks like I'll keep mine for the next 3 years then...
We could have a track day type thing exclusively for members, followed by an evening event. Members could have the option of paying the full price for both parts, or a cheaper ticket enabling them just to attend in the evening. This means those that aren't interested in a track day, still have...
I filled up with Tesco's Super for a while, but it didn't feel quite as responsive as Optimax, so that's what I'll stick to I reckon.
When I've used regular 95 RON rubbish, I've noticed that the car idles like a bag of spanners, but is fine on Optimax.
When I bought my Clio, the driver's mat had a hole in, so the dealer replaced the whole set, but not with the Reanault Sport ones - with some from a bog-standard Clio. They're dark gray, with a light gray check pattern. They're not bad, but I'm a bit peeved that I don't have the proper ones!
Cheers. Yeah I'm fed up of trying to hoover the mud off my carpet mats, and these seem ideal. I don't have my 306 to carry people around in anymore
Hey Fletch, mine does exactly the same - I fill it up with screenwash/water, then the headlamp washers leak continuously for about a day, then stop on their own. Maybe it's to do with increased water pressure behind the "balls" when the reservoir is full?
Should I take mine to Renault, as it's...
I've got to say that I think that the Clio's ESP system is one of the laziest and most useless on the market. Even with it on, you can still get out of shape pretty easy, and the traction control is useless at stopping wheelspin. I mean it tries its hardest, but it's a bit rubbish compared to...
Don't most Ren-sport Clios do that annoying hesitate thing at 3.5k when they're cold, to protect the engine?
Anyways, if he drove it like that with you in it, imagine what he's like normally!
