The blocks are quite differnt in their casting, strenthning ribs mostly. and some bolt holes.
Front covers are the same though.
cranks are different parts (willy ebing the diesel one)...
Under the seal moss can grow, and this lifts teh edge and the wire/cable inder the seal lets water through, into the runenrs which collects in teh gutter ontop of the roof lights/remote locking sensor.
It wouldnt of been proper detonation phil, that would kill an engine within seconds....aki to hitting an rising piston with a sledge hammer.

50bhp isnt much strain at all and i would only go for a wet kit as its far easier to install and more reliable, due to installation.
you can run 50bhp all day no probs with appropriate ignition retardation and as long as your plugs dont promote pre ig.

its an enthusiast website and people dont like to sell their cars for what they feel its worth. And people can get similar cars outside this site for far less.
Most of the prices on here are highly unrealistic except to otehr enthusiasts.

You can reprofile the entry taper and the bifurcation, teh spindles you can narrow within reason (if you want to replace the screws or not), knife edge it (careful not to open up a gap between plate and bore) the make sure the entry lip...
