My window seal squeaks really badly when you open and close the drivers window, its so annoying! Embarrassing when you're sitting at the lights and its all quiet and you go to put your window up... Anyone got any ideas how I can fix this? A quick Google suggests silicone spray which I tried...

Mine does it a bit when cold but never when warmed up, its like described as a bit of a flat spot. You put your foot down and it doesn't really rev, then kicks in and accelerates. Is this just because it's a 1.2? Never really thought about it until this thread to be honest.

A nice start but a couple of things, first those are reflector headlights aren't they? Isn't that dangerous putting HIDs in them as they dazzle other drivers? Secondly, is your scuttle panel and top mount covers missing? Guessing you just took them off for the pic! Don't forget to clean out...

A quick update! Soldered the screen back on and noticed the red pin in the plug had come out. So, plugged that back in and it all works now! The stereo screen even turns off and on! Now just to wire it up in the car.

I don't get how those work, surely if the bottom of the wheel is further out when you've fit those spacers, surely then when the wheel rotates the top would be further out, and so on, causing the cars wheels to be all over the place :s am I being stupid? Haha

Could be an idea... Would the parrot kit do anything if I just connected 12v to the right wires? Could run it off a spare PC power supply I have if so and test it

Thanks for the offer that's very kind of you! :) I got the switch from a Renault Laguna as it looked identical and had one touch and fit in the handle, the plugs different though! It's the drivers side one touch window switch, the physical plugs the same there's just one extra plastic tab...

Put the radio back and it all works fine, still stuck about the Parrot kit though!

Just works off the ISO leads I believe, you plug the two leads into two plugs and then these plug into the stereo.

Okay so I took out the stereo, and plugged it all in and as far as I can tell it should work fine... But, when you turn the stereo off it still says the radio station/whatever it said before on the screen, and the Parrot kit won't turn on :( Help? Shouldn't have started this in my lunch...

All the festoon bulbs in my clio measure 38mm, so I used 36mm bulbs, but you could fit a 39mm one in there easily I'd imagine.
