I stored the blue box and everything above the steering column on the drivers side, cable tied it up there to some metal framework, I have a mk3 though so may be different. I can take photos of the install tomorrow if you want :)

Got some LED sidelights off eBay, they were recommended alot on a thread on this forum with loads trying them and finding them excellent, but they both flicker. So, I contacted the seller and got some more sent out, and now they flicker too... Its not noticeable until I park up against my garage...

Make sure you double check with the garage that did it too, mine were "done" but I didn't check into the garage, later found out the garage didn't even exist!

IIRC Myldan Auto Design (traders on here) also had some for sale a while back, not sure if it was a limited time thing or not though...

Wouldn't bother with the silicone spray! I did this to mine and it just smeared the window up like crazy every time I moved it :( Only did it to stop the squeaking seals!

Painted my brake drums. Before: After: Very happy with them! Did both rear drums with 3 coats of Hammerite smooth black. Wire brushed and sanded down the drums a bit first to smooth them out. While I was there I also cleaned the wheels inside. Hit them with the Wonder Wheels Hot Wheels...
