Okay so i had an issue a while back where the headlights wouldn't turn on or off, they were just stuck on a faint dim light, that was a fun drive home!
Never had that issue since, but it has recently been having difficulty turning the headlights on or off? You turn the stalk to on, nothing...
Cheers guys, my uncle has some Valet Pro blue gel wheel cleaner somewhere, is that worth a shot? Seen some good reviews online where it removes alot of caked on dust etc on some alloys. My wheels are just the standard 1.2 clio mk3 Mahonia alloys
Cheers :)
Got some black marks, and a few black specs on my alloys, i'm guessing brake dust as it appeared soon after my new pads were fitted AFAIK. Whats the best way to remove this? I'm thinking buy some Valetpro bilberry wheel cleaner and go over them either diluted or neat?
I'm 17 and just about to leave sixth form and start an apprenticeship, I found adding business use and telling them id have to drive a fair amount for work, and changing from a student to an apprentice means they're giving me ~£100 cash back when I start work...
Im debating one of these -

Fair enough you end up with a magnet stuck to the back of your phone (case) but its 4 quid and I think looks a good idea with decent reviews?
Right, so driving my car yesterday this sounds sad but the song came on that I always used to listen to just when I bought the car, and well I realized how much I once loved the car. Got a great job offer that I've taken recently so hopefully will have more money soon enough when I start work...
Think I did when I bought it yeah and it all looked OK to me. Will check it again later though, guessing you need the reg plate and something on the V5?
Knew it was cheap when I bought it, just thought how bad can a fairly low mileage and not too old clio with one lady owner be? Guess now I...
Bought from the dealer 6 months ago, annoying really they're the nicest guys ever acting all friendly like a family selling the car, then you buy it... things couldn't be more different. Made a thread about them a while back on here, loads of people could find holes in their sales descriptions...
The story is as follows...
I bought the car in July 2013 for £2495, its a 1.2 MK3 in Monaco Blue and a 55 Plate. I bought it from a dealer called FCS Trade Sales in Rainham, and before that it was owned by a woman who did very little miles, less than 30k between 2006, and 2013. The car looked...
Probably worth a paypal claim? Done that a couple of times including once on a lexmark printer I ordered, to find I was sent a box with a brick in it... used recorded postage to me though so i'm assuming he wanted the right weight on the receipt for Paypal. Disputed the payment and put pictures...
Okay so basically, when I change down into first/second the box feels like its quite hard to put into gear? If the speed then drops lower, it'll go in fine.
A good example is coming to a roundabout, slow down to a suitable speed and go to put it into second and the gear stick wont go into gear...
Thought seriously about what do I do when I turn 18 with 1 year NCD, keep the clio and modify it to get it to how I want but still have a 1.2... Or save up and try and find a 1.6 megane 3 door? End of the day megane will be more comfortable and faster, and also newer as I could try and get a...
Done the NFJ and it's much better improved from the castrol 75w90, worth every penny! Very happy with the new oil and would never even begin to try 75w90 again.
Painted the brake calipers, or one of them at least until I had to do something else :( Now have one very red, one totally faded red and two rusty brown!
Huh? Oil was drained and refilled correctly earlier ;)
Update for everyone, bought some of the oil Renault Wolverhampton told me is recommended to be in the box :) Bought 5L as it was only £6 more expensive than 3, cheaper than 4, and I heard the box takes around 3.1L? Either way i'll just fill...
Planning to finally do my calipers tonight unless its hammering with rain! Normally you just take off the wheel and paint it on the caliper carefully with a brush using Hammerite, but make sure you don't use too many strokes or be too perfectionist with it, I find if you coat it on not too thick...
