Id definitely keep the adjustor - had it set to 30/40% on track, but some sections of cadwell were too tight, and also found when the back end kicked out it was too hard to get opposite lock on - so added more. It's definitely handy being able to set it to whatever suits the circuit most.

That won't work The ebay box doesn't just allow you to alter the assistance level. It fakes the speed sensor and angle sensor inputs that the EPAS ECU would normally get from the column You see in a normal 1.2/1.4 it would give more assistance at slow speeds than high speeds - but because...

You could as it's just a 12v ignition feed that turns the EPAS Ecu on - but to be honest you don't need to as the control box from Ebay comes with an adjustor knob and turned totally down it's virtually off. And it's near impossible to turn the car lol Also FYI it's not a pump - it's an ecu...

That thread seems to have got so long no-one can be bothered reading it anymore which is a shame You need an epas column - available from 1.2 or 1.4 16v clios, the ecu and motor to match it (also recommend getting a key with it or asking them to remove the ignition barrel as you need the key...

Tbh the 3 and 3+ are overkill if it's for a track car - realistically how often do we use 120fps on track? If it's for a skateboarder/surfer or some other action fun then I'd pay £300+ for one. But for in a track car the very basic GoPro 3 or even a GoPro 2 would be fine - and they're under £200

I have no idea what you've done to that EP3 - but I used to play with ST170's in my 106 gti The EP3 with a good track setup on the suspension is a bloody quick car. His has an m-factory diff, and is chucking out about 240bhp - I could never keep up with it in my stripped track throttle...

Yeah the running costs of the M3's are horrific. I've got an insanely long list at the moment - Golf R32, Mazda 3 MPS, 350Z etc... There's so many cars out their for the money Gonna see if I can test drive a few over the next month or so and see what I fall in love with

One of my best mates has a modded EP3 and it's loads quicker than me on track. They do have a very good chassis in my opinion - they're just very soft as standard. At the moment a DC5 is looking top of the list as it ticks all the boxes. Fun every day, comfy, can have a stereo again and lug...

Nope a lad looking for a track car in the UK. To be fair if you want to get into tin tops or french race series it's pretty much a ready to go car other than a few little bits. I wasn't expecting to get an offer in under an hour though lol
