:( I think I would cry to come home to that, Fingers crossed you can get something arranged to get it replaced. Seen this happen to my neighbours Focus, not a pretty sight at all :(
TDC sensor's can stop the engine cranking, only when the connection is completely shot though. When mine went both the starter and the TDC died together :(
Have you tried the TDC sensor ? killed mine, just makes a clicking noise when attempting to start. Good way to test this is to take a spark plug out and try start it and see if it sparks
GL :)
My boot lid's got a bit of a rattle going on, can anybody else have a quick look at the metal arm/hook on the boot liner/bumper and tell me if there's has any play. Think mine might need changing.
My drivers side is like this too, the scrap yard is handy for things like this as you can see whats on offer before you buy/pocket :P
Might also worth noting you have to remove your dashboard to replace the bulb (You probably already know :P)...
Agree with the above, likely caused the surface to glaze causing the fade. Cant remember the bedding in distance to do before abusing them if anybody cares to add :P
The top half of the grill should be held in place by two "pop clips" on each corner, they are black thread less screws which push into a housing, not sure what there correct name is but im sure if they are missing you will see the two holes left by them :P
When i got them they had 195/45/R16's on them (Aparently for track use) but i use 205/45/R16's on them on at the moment, and i used an online calculator and found the radius had dropped slightly knocking my speedo my 0.05%. Other than the rubbing on one side and a slighly pecamistic MPG reading...
They should be fine, i have them on my 1.4 and they are ok bar the passanger rear corner. That side will rub if you corner fast enough, havn't had any signs of rubbing on any other wheel :P
It's a little plastic key (T shaped) with 3 small straight prongs at each point of a triangle, you could probably go to the scrap yard and take it out the emergency repir kit in the boot :P
No no I don't have any metal bit's, it's more prevention that fixing :P Just doing an oil change in the coming week's so I figured might as well they are pretty cheap :)
I have the 1.4 16v which I believe is the same/similar layout to your own, I also did not de-pressurise mine when I took my TB out (I think that may be relating to removing the intake manifold and injectors)
The first step is to remove both the bolts holding your coolant bottle in place and move...
Hi :D I believe the noise coming from the roof is part of the climate control, it suggests you will need a new sensor which will cost roughly £25 - £30 to replace
The washer bottle you will probably have to remove the plastic trim in front of the windscreen to get an idea of where its leaking...
Not too sure about decoding but most aftermarket head units will need an adaptor for the side controlls and display, Halfords sell a few diffrent adaptors so they might be worth a try.
I have a gauge that runs off the intake and looking at threads it seems most use the bonnet release grommet behind the glove box, ive tried to feed the tube through it with a bit of washing up liquid but it just gets stuck and the space in the1.4 bay makes it fiddley to get to. Anybody got any...
When I changed mine it was a copper ring, the one on the bottom left on the photo is probably the best match for the one i used. Never leaked so it did the job, cost me 30p from the car shop on the corner :P
Just pondering something, the Laguna V6 and the clio V6 have the same block (Different compressions and intake ect) but will a manifold from a clio V6 fit a Laguna V6 ? :D
