What I am looking for is a good backup solution that allows for full virtual system recovery, but also granular file recovery from within a VM. It also has to...
Just got the two bumpers I ordered from apple. I have to say they are much nicer than I was expecting the gloss black centre with the rubber outer actualy compliment the iPhone quite nicely.
It will at least keep the phone safe until I have a proper look at some custom cases.. And bonus I will...
Gadget show demostrated that using tinfoil to 'cup' the antenna and make it directional did provide some gains in signal strength.
Worth a punt ?
Failing that you need a repeater/second wap
EDIT: damn you Tom !
I can't believe i just shot and edited HD video on my phone ! how technology moves on is incredible.
By far the most impressive thing out of the whole phone is the screen. It's perfect. Sort the signal issue and you have the best phone on the market for sure.
Same, t-mobile sim didn't work after cutting it down.. I deffo didn't damage the sim card so must just be crappy t-mobile sims.
Ended up switching to o2 anyway.
Dell SSD's are by far not the best SSD experience (definitely still better than HDD though). If you order again, order it with the smallest hard drive then buy your own SSD separately ;)
*edit* just re-read what you said, looks like you did it that way already. which SSD did you get ?
I've had problems with 9.2 putting video onto my ipad.. in the end I had to completely erase all the stuff off it and start from scratch.
Thanks Apple.. why can't i just drag/drop stuff onto it bypassing Itunes !!
Things just keep getting better :D !

Tmobile said they would beat it and gave me
600...

Sim free black 32GB, I would say I made about £150 profit after fee's and postage.
Buyer has 100% positive feedback and paypal'd the money from a verified account.
Upgrade should be fine. If i remember rightly you will be prompted to backup your stuff before the upgrade and it will let you know incompatible programs.
Either way, backup files, write down programs you use and make sure you still have the disk/serial for bought versions, and at the very...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
It just worked for me..
Would it make you feel any better if I told you I just got another order in so now have 2 32gb Iphones pre-ordered :P
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I can.. black 32gb pre-ordered.
:D :D :D
Will cancel it later if I can get a better deal.
Aha.. tracked down the problem !
Header checksum problem was due to TCP offload engine on server NIC;s due to ISCSI traffic.. false alert really.
A Virtual VMWare adaptor on server 2 gave itself a private internal ip of 192.168.1.1 by default and there is no way to see this through normal...
More info after I ran packet sniffer on Server 1
when pinging server 2 from server 1 the ICMP packets are going out the interface with a checksum of 0x0000 which is totally wrong :( it's like it is not generating an checksum for the outgoing packets ?? but only for that IP ?? wtf ?
