Not to start with in my opinion. You won't be going so quickly that you'll need that extra bit of safety, those 2 items offer no more protection in a crash that a regular belt really. You need a cage too to get the full safety benefit. (Half cage is definitely pointless, they're just for show...

Looks like we're gonna head down to Brands anyway this upcoming monday, despite not racing. Keen to meet all the people and see all the cars. Is it just 3 clios now then?

Yeh, exactly. We really haven't used this car at all and we still have some prep work to do on it before we race it. Doing a little bit of testing will acheive this and also give us a chance to learn the tracks we're going to be going to in the future.

Pretty much, just costs us £25 to cancel it.

April 24th 2012: After many hours of scratching our heads over why we couldn't start the engine, we traced it to a faulty UCH, but fortunately, we have a spare car on hand to steal components from! So, we took the ECU, UCH and transponder from the other car and plugged them in…..and away we...
