I'm sure there will be some cocky sod turn up soon telling us all about the Audi magnetic semi-active suspension system.
I still want to drive a Vauxhall GSI3000 with working active suspension, but I'm old. Was is called ACT?
Brand means nothing in my opinion, some are too cheap to give a second look, but anything made from quality parts can be made to work for its intended use.
The thing is suspension is always a compromise, you want it to work on a track? It will, but it'll be s**t on the road. You want it to...
Standard looking 182 with Turini's -
2.5 Subaru turbo lump with 300 - 350bhp
Custom bell housing to a Ford T5 box mated to a Subaru rear subframe
Ohlins suspension
Sent off to Prodrive or Lotus for setting up
I think you'd be better of starting a new thread of your own on this to get more feedback, but what tyre pressures are you running and have you checked that they are all rolling in the right direction?
That was a great write up, a good performance for your first time out.
How does it work with the cars that don't have driver changes? Is there a mandatory stop?
That's one hell of a fastest lap to aim for too from the Honda - good luck!
Who cares? You (and your mates evidently) always look for the cheapest, most s**t cars you can find then ask on here if they're any good. I look forward to seeing it for sale on here in thre future, most likely with 'Mint CTR' in the thread title.
A guy who works with me said he saw one of these in a ditch when he was heading back from college in T.Wells the other night. Guess this was the one! Sad news, looks like the driver should have been ok though.
