If it helps, they don't have to constantly be connected. Could you just install them and connect the aerial wires, then just use a phone extension lead to hook up to each box just for initial installation, if required.
Guessing they mean internal and external parts of the wheel. Could need a rebore unless they're spigot rings that are the reducing factor. Could be more hassle than it's worth. Are they local for you to look at/trial fit?
I would guess at some stage, upgraded were fitted and ex owner took them out and didn't bother replacing. Ten second job to take grill off to see, if the dash ones are working then all 4 outputs have power, as dash ones run off door (unless bodged)
I think they will be 100 PCD as that's what some VW and Vauxhalls are. You need to ask the seller to be sure. Need to be 4 x 100 PCD and centre bore 60.1
I can't see how you can describe a tyre as dangerous. Are you sure you're not just asking too much of the tyres?
Unless there's another problem with the car. My wife's Puma has budgets all round and I'm sorry but if that car breaks traction, it is because I am driving way too fast for a public road.
Comparing a rainsport with a premium summer tyre is like chalk and cheese though. A wet biased tyre has a totally different compound and tread block style. Not designed for the same performance as a PS3 etc.
If you're just after reasonable replacements and not fussed about supreme sound quality then seek out some Fusions, stupidly good for the money. Only about £20 a pair for 13cm at a guess.
I'm guessing you're on 185/55 so may not sound a lot but will make a difference.
195/50 = wider. Profile will be about the same as it's 55% of 185 compared to 50% of 195. CBA lol
I would guess that it could be a wheel bearing, bush or something is bent. Take it somewhere else - maybe one that does a free alignment check that also does servicing. Jack the car up and see if there is any play in the wheel.
