When you put your foot down the MPG drops onsiderably but when you take her handy it stays sweet
eg: 62.2 MPG combined i think i like it from a 1.5 dci
Lads i noticed the other day that my windscreen has cracked from the base of it underneath the bonnet top right up until above the windows.
There isnt any stonechips etc
Could this be a faulty screen and covered under warranty ?
Its a 2002 clio dci btw.
Mate thats sweet looking on the 206.
Is she the 1.9hdi or the 1.4hdi? Thinkin about stickin an intercooler in my dci65 and tuning it.
The old d turbos (mechanical injestion ones) could be tuned by turning a couple of screws on the furl pump and adjusting the wastegate on the turbo in 30mins...
I had 2 x 306 d turbos and nope they wouldnt and the HDI is slower than the d turbo proven
In stock form in a race .........................NO.........but tuned maybe something cause the dturbos rather than the hdis are good for close to 150.......serious tuning.oubt if they would beat a...
So lads i think i should be getting an intercooler and chip then to get my own up to speed then get her chipped to over 100bhp?
Do you know if the dci65 engine is running a higher boost on the turbo as the waste gate is easy to reach at the back of the engine.
Do you also know if the dci65...
Lads what is the difference between the two engines? Is it simply just a chip etc or whats the story with the engines?
Any renault mechanics etc on site who would know ?
Lads one of those corsas is gonna be a lot more tuneable than a clio 172.
The turbo can be tweaked / replaced engine chipped exhausts syetms are more responsive of most forced induction cars also.
Fair play to vauxhall for havin the balls to do something like that, although im still not that...

i got it placed in behind the grill on the drivers side of the badge. theres a blanking plate there which i removed. The system still incorporates all the air meters etc and receives loads of cold air and has made a slight diff to throttle response and the turbo seems to come on a bit stronger.
I got my custom made induction fitted today and what a job, its class, the whistle from it is sweet and the grunt is also very nice. But the whistle is the best bit when the turbo spools up the sound of the whoosh then if u just ease off the accelerator it whooshes like a dump valve mad as...

has anyone on the site had an exhaust systemfitted to their clio Dci65 or 80 yet?
Ive already got an exhaust system fitted and it made a hell of a difference but i was wondering if the removal of the crap looking air box makes much of a diff??
Also removing the air box has revealed the...
