250ish would be a dream haha - Prices range from 400's to nearly a grand depending on where you live (Renault dealers)
Back street garages are dodgy. Too many miss timed Clio's kicking about due to lack of knowledge and incorrect special tools for the job.
Best bet it to shop about at...
RS Inlet is meant to be a slightly better cast factory vs say the stock 172 one.
The process of porting only takes any inlet up to the size of the stock gasket so as a result ALL inlets will be the same after porting.

Ah thats a totally different ball game then. You never mentioned the depahaser had been replaced prior :)
Was assuming going by your opening post you only had a belt change and was pee'd off at the fact they never spotted it was worn or wearing 4k's back
Give them hell
Why would he have a right to claim for anything? He got his cambelt done 4 thousand miles back.

Yes you should tell them you have it fitted
As most others have said yes Halfords sell it. They also sell a universal spanner type thing with lots of different size squares coming off it (blue in colour) so not sure why this was such a struggle lol
Agree.
Bit silly and obvious leaving the locking nut in the glove box but suppose its one of those things you dont think will ever happen..
Would have thought it would have had a anti-jacking alarm. Clio does factory fit and your talking a 8,9 year old technology!
Same here.
This is what Renault dealers use too when a car comes in for a service with the same problem apparently. (saves ordering a part and does a better long term job)
Top up with special CV greese if needed and as already mentioned if split, new boot time
