Open the door and take the grommet off you can see inside where the strip sits. Wedge a screwdriver in behind the clip in there and push the strip towards the back of the car. Miles quicker than faffing around trying to pull the strip by hand.
Wonder wheels first if they've got some really bad staining on them (As long as they're powdercoated not painted!!), Then get some Poorboys wheel sealent and give them approx 3000000 coats of it and from then on you should only need soapy water to remove the crap.
I always prefer to start high, and if it doesn't remove the damage then go lower. Saves putting any unnecessary huge scratches in it. I'd start with about 800 wetndry depending on how bad it is.
Persist a bit first if it's a Samsung, one of my mates had a touchscreen Samsung end up at the bottom of a swimming pool, the other's went through the washing machine. Both worked fine after a week or so of encouragement and being left on to dry it out.
Depends on the tester, a really anal/bored one will notice it. Both stations I took my 1.2 too didn't bat an eyelid at them.
Make a big difference to the front end IMO :)
