Exactly, so far definitely could not recommend the product, will be getting sent back later tonight by looks of things. Save your money guys and get a Super Spray :(
Cool cheers Revels, just tried again and no luck. Looks very similar to the Karcher fitting but must be slightly larger as its not working. How long does sanding down metal take?!?
Will have a go later with my dad but trying to force it doesn't seem the way to go. Piece of s**t it really is.
TBH I think Autobrite are having an absolute laugh with this product, might work ok once its fitted but this is just stupid. Will have another couple of goes but if not its going back as quite simply I don't see the need for me to be f**king about sanding stuff down to make their product fit...
Yeah mate have been waiting for ages to get one and wanted to do my mums car for her with it as a late mothers day present. I tried connecting it, it goes in but you need to rotate it once its in (assuming its fitted the same as the original Karcher lance it comes with) and it just doesn't...
Just tried again and still doesn't work...severely pissed off right now and thinking should have saved the money, feel like I am going to break the Karcher gun or foam lance trying to fit it
Ok I know there are meant to be issues with the fitting of these to Karchers, but it just doen't seem the same shape/size as the existing one and if they think I am going to spend hours f**king around drilling/ sanding/ using papier-mache to solve it then Autobrite can go suck lemons.
A shot of...
Right just tried fitting the lance to the Karcher gun and not very happy :dapprove: The lance seems to go back into the connection but no clicking noise or anything, and you can't twist it as the brass connection bits would be too far outside the gun bit if you know what I mean. So the bottle...
BTW Matt order arrived today, cheers. Going to try fitting the lance now. Think it is expensive for what it is though still I'm pretty sure Autobrite must be making huge profits on these things but seems well screwed together. Cheers mate
I'll have a look tomorrow but got a brand new bottle of Chemical Guys Blue Wheel Cleaner unopened for sure as I had a larger bottle of Megs Wheel Brightener...will let you know!
I just have loads of half empty products which are good but have better ones or ones I just prefer, might do a sale or something for people on here if they are interested?
+1 for the polisher.
I have a PC and like Rich says will be the best thing you buy for your paint. But my Autobrite lance should arrive tomorrow. Just need a water filter but that can wait until the Summer...
Dread to think how much I have spent on all my stuff, also running out of room to...
Haha cool mate, I got the passenger side sidelight in fine it was the driver's side which was hard and as it was so cold nearly dropped the bulb but my dad managed to do it for me, good old dads eh!
Cheers for the advice anyway pal, much appreciated.
Ordered...come with free sidelights which I already have so can give to my mate, but postage is free too as opposed to £8, so bargain!!!
Have you changed them on your car then?
Some rather confused opinions on here. I would say no not because it lacks originality but because they look stupid on a Clio although they can fit in better depending on what other mods you have got.
I like the standard/ subtle look though so not really much of a surprise I don't like them I...
Excellent cheers mate.
Are they hard to fit do you know? Found changing the sidelights on the driver's side an absolute mare!
Edit: do you know the discount code too pal by any chance, or standard "cliosport"?
Sorry to post another thread on these but not 100% sure, will these fit my mk2 172, the offset version?

I was about to order from k-Tec but they have an £8 postage charge, sod that!
Cheers
Tom.
Just done another 200 miles in the rain on the motorway....mmm it is looking GOOD right now...;) Tomorrow shall be the start of the resurrection of the Black Pearl.
I've got one on my bonnet but getting it out next week through Paintless Dent Removal. Just be careul where you park, try going at the end of a set of spaces and parking as far over as you can in future mate.
