It is amazing how much free time I have now too, I get an extra day in the week, Sundays used to be spent recovering from Saturday/ cleaning the car for a god few hours. Although probably looking at a big session as soon as I get home, wheels off, might even get around the painting the callipers...
My car is minging at the moment, not been cleaned for about 3 weeks and driven back home and back in that time. But as its well sealed and waxed a decent pressure wash and a pre-foam will sort it right out. Although I REALLY need to get the wheels off and do the insides properly over Easter.
3...
You can get the equivalent Karcher model for the same or less elsewhere, in fact don't they sell it? Got mine from Argos...well Father Christmas did anyway :)
I think you all underestimate the B Man and Virgin...they have always (tried to) be the best and for the lowest price, thats how they have done so well in so many different industries. I have VM at home and can only remember one evening in the many years we have had it (and NTL before it) where...
+1. I have two of these bad boys now, a LOT better than the Der Wunder towels or anything else I have used. Can't believe I used to rate waffle weave towels back in the day don't hardly use my old ones even on my wheels now.
AG SRP isn't really much of a polish to be honest, it won't really remove any but the mildest of marks even by machine. If you are serious about getting the paint spot on I would get someone to machine polish it properly. Once that is done you can maintain the car yourself with a decent wash...
Mine just has the aroma of manly leather and plastic conditioners...mmm! I have a trade type spray in the car though, smells of orange but I don't like it smelling like a gentleman's club so don't use it very often.
Ah fair play.
So I am guessing overall not a huge fan of the Double Wax then...I think I will stick with the Onyx but maybe get the Megs 16 at some point.
It is great stuff Seer you won't regret the purchase. I need some more actually! As Rich said it doesn't streak at all, which some other decent QDs do, even on black. I like Sonus products a lot in general, their Trim & Motorkote and Paint Cleanser are also awesome, as are their pads.
Yep all about glossy tyres to match the paint work...Blackfire all the way!
Looks nice though mate...just do the sills next time as said. It is all about the details.
All SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT! ;) Only joking mate look great especially for a first crack. Whose are the 197 and Exige (got to get me one of these...)
Obviously don't care about the Vee piece of crap though:rasp:
Very easy to use, just spray on and wipe off straight away with a MF cloth.
Produces a decent finish but all depends on your wash technique and what LSP you are using.
My favourite is Sonus Caranuba Spritz but Megs Last Touch is still very good and works out very cost effective, lasts for ages.
Doing two in a session would be pretty hard work I imagine! It is at least a day's job doing one car if you want it to a decent standard.
If no one on here is in your area might be worth checking Detailing World mate, loads of people on there who do it as their job rather than cowboys like...
They are ok I have one and I think Rich likes them still but I MUCH prefer the Miracle Drying Towel, works faster, better and is softer too IMO. I have two and although one is good, going round with the second one with some Last Touch restores the "just waxed" look brilliantly. Plus they are so...
It is surprising how many people actually comment on it, even if they don't know what make it is they say its a nice wallet. After over 2 years still looks mint.
