Making a replica must cost nearly as much as buying a real CS, only without the BHP and other sports bits to back it up.
Save your pennies and get a car that goes not just for show...
I have that PW and the pressure is more than adequate for car cleaning purposes.
Yeah Mark @ AB was friendly when I spoke to him but Matt's prices are cheaper especially with the CS discount so would speak to him mate.
Yeah Aldi is actually alright from the one time I have been. I quite like the industrial look, was kind of like a night club with lots of frozen food to buy!
Another vote for Miracle Drying Towel! I have two now, first one gets most the water off, second one with a bit of QD gets it back to the just waxed look in no time. I even dried mine in the sun the other day with no problems at all, and no marks induced either. I want to buy myself one...they...
Haha. Touche!
Still can't believe it...£5 on a bucket!!! And why would you even want wheels on it, just means it would run down my drive into the road!
Right, time for some Force Choking...
To not state it was a Cat D verges on the criminal in my opinion, regardless of anything else. It is not something like condition of the mats which doesn't really matter, the fact is a car that has been in an accident to cause the damage probably isn't the same car as it was before and would...
Also, I forgot to say I had some old Turtle Scratch-X type stuff and tried using it on a localised mark on my car to see how it faired, and it looked TERRIBLE afterwards. Had to go back to IP with the PC and then refine it...so just don't go there either!
A pink bucket...who the hell makes them!?!? hehe. I am sure you look very cool. But I hope you didn't pay £50 for it.
I instead invested in 50 £1 buckets, and now use the patented 50 buckets method. Just takes a while to fill them all up...
Mat7 - nice one, pleased its taking off. Will be putting an order your way when I am back home anyways, just no point whilst at uni - don't even have a tap here!
Mattjk - you IDIOT child! :rasp:
Probably not!
Nice ad banner by the way, just noticed it! You thought about any Yell.com space too, its quite cheap and can be goo value for money, although not sure if there is much to do with detailing on there? Think when I was at work we paid something like £700 for two banners in...
Haha. That man knows his stuff!
(and yes I would get this moved to the detailing section if you want a "real" response) But in essence they are products used when a tap water supply is not available, but only really works on clean-ish cars, and don't use them myself although I know others on...
So basically a stronger version of the normal formulation then, for dirtier cars?
If so, I will probably just stick to the normal version then, although I am not sure why but I always want to buy anything with the word "citrus" in as I imagine eating some juicy orange or something...probably...
If you haven't bought that yet I would buy a Super Spray instead. We used to use these things to apply TFR and as Rich said, they don't really produce much foam. Plus the capacity of the thing means you will have to pour in loads of Snow Foam to get a decent dilution rate, the Super Spray only...
Dash and plastics - Chemical Guys Silk Shine Dressing or Poorboys Natural Look Dressing.
Leather - Gliptone Cleaner and Conditioner.
Alcantara -wipedown with clean and slightly moist microfibre towel.
Glass - Autoglym Fast Glass will be fine.
Fabric - wipedown with slightly moist microfibre...
Nice car there!
I actually like silver cars, I think the 182 in silver with the anthracite wheels looks great. Although lack of reflections would make me a sad little soldier if it was my car. Freshly waxed black car on a summer's day drive = good times!
