Yeah might have to give it a whirl...I am starting to notice all things in my life can be detailed though, cleaned and conditioned my Mont Blanc wallet and used some QD on my phone as it looked like something had pleasured itself over it. I suspect it was my lamp, although I do love lamp.
I use a load of different bottles and trinkets on the exterior, Sonus Trim and Motorkote on arches and wing mirror surrounds and lower grille, Chemical Guys New Look on upper grille, and have also been using Blackfire Tyre Gel on splitter and the bit of plastic in the rear bumper, works really...
Yeah thats who I meant...he came on here drumming for business then fooked off as soon as he got here!
Anyway, good luck with the business - I don't envy you working outside this time of year though!!! ;)
I take my car whilst at uni to a local place but I give them a £5 to use my own stuff and do it myself. They must think I am mad as I think a basic wash is only £5, but they wash about 10 cars in the time it takes me to do mine!
It's easy mate just make sure its nice and thin, and don't apply in the cold as it sets solid if you leave it too long. Leaves a great glossy finish but marginally mutes any metallic flake. More of a winter wax really although would still be fine in summer too.
This not the same Gav that was on here a while ago, the 14 year old guy?
EDIT: Just realised it would be a 14 year old to drive a 172...so guessing no!
Yeah the Zaino shots I have seen really seem to bring out a nice crystal-like finish to the paint, the metallic flake really pops out. Would like to try that too!
Yeah could give that a go...although my need for durability this winter was due to not being able to wash my car every week like I had at home, after uni that won't be as much as a problem, especially if some kind soul wants to give me a company car to abuse too!
What I would really like is an...
Well I was considering the Blue Velvet but you didn't rate it that much and neither have a few others, and plus not really a fan of the whole coloured effect either. 476s is brilliant for durability and leaves a decent gloss for over the winter, when depth of paint isn't all important as its...
Haha haven't heard that mentioned for a while, and pay your fiver as Alan says! :D
For the time being my 476s/ Onyx combo is doing great so no real need to move over yet, and don't really think buying the DW is worth it seeing as I think I prefer the Onyx finish. I might be interested in the...
Yeah obviously your 182 is MINT....but at the same time unless you are minted (bdm-ch!) it is something quite expensive to be sitting depreciating away in the garage. Seems a shame not to see it out and about more, it is a stunner.
Looks good Treen - just make sure you blast it through some muddy roads before you sell it to get it out your system! :D Love that car and good photos and write-up as per.
Get a lambswool mitt for the paint and a mf mitt for the wheels and an old sponge for arches.
Follow the 2 bucket method, or if possible 3 bucket method (or as many as you can handle really!)
Tha Carlack stuff looks good, just got some 476s on my windows, not quite as good for beading but keeps them nice and glossy, and water doesn't dry on them and leave calcium marks. I like!
^ Why not, plenty of testing goes on of durability of products, ease of use, looks, which temperature ranges work best for what, curing times etc, although I am not entirely sure how you could test the effectiveness of a grit guard - it is a bit more subjective.
All I can say is 3 bucket method...
Woah 2 bars on a car?!?? Normally never any more than a third to a half...BUT i guess where you are living is a lot worse than here!
But no sorry pal no idea which clay it is you were using, try speaking to Meguiars directly maybe if no one knows?
Poor battery life is a massive turn off for me, I just want a small, light, attractive phone with a good battery life, like my good old Nokia 8210 was back in the day, except with more modern features of course. That was a great little phone.
Just found out though that my upgrade isn't until...
Ah I get this, although seems worse on a freshly cleaned and prepped car...not really sure what it is that causes it though? (except obviously the cleaning and prepping!)
