Sure i read in terms of porting, the rougher the casting ie non RS, the better the result as theres more to work with?? Like any breathing mods, map it to get the full and best results

Going by the few 172 / 182's iv seen front end mashed the fuel rail area seems to escape damage. Never seen one pole axed tho. Do Cup's have the protective cover on ??

Personally, never had a problem with my gearbox or it crunching and iv done well over 100k in it now, owned from new. Think it all depends how much stick you give it and your driving style. That goes for any car The biting point can be adjusted under the pedal.

Stealth means hidden. (factory Clio 172 look) 182's dont have hidden exhausts (stealth) obviously and pretty sure you cant get a after market stealth off the shelf for a 182
