Using them as practice for when you spray your alloys is good, but will probably look a bit pikey putting them on the car.

I painted mine to match the car, but it was only because they were flaking etc and my car is silver anyway. Sometimes spraying them bright colours can look a bit cheap.

You mean you can change the main/full beam bulbs (they;re halogen btw) to match the dipped beam xenons? Yes you can, but there's not much point as noone ever sees it and generally bulbs that give a "xenon white look" give out a pish amount of light. They're H1s though if you do decide to change...

There's no real need to upgrade the main beams when you have xenons tbh, rarely need them. You can change the sidelights, but it's very hard to get a set which give out the same colour of light as standard Clio xenons (4300k), you're better off just taking them out. Will fool a lot of people, not a lot can tell the difference between a modded 1.2 and a sport. I get quite a few people asking if mine is a 172, even had one not believe it was a 1.2 and he's got a 197!

The only way to get a properly white light is HIDs. I had a set of ULTRA headlight bulbs, they were very bluey/white looking, but the light was pish.

Get the bonnet sprayed mate. Touching up looks sh*t at the best of times. never mind making your bonnet look like it has acne.

From your project thread it also looks like you did a lot of the stripping and stuff yourself aswell? That should chop a chunk out of the price.
