    Failing a MOT on emissions is the same as failing it on a light bulb. You'll just have to get the problem sorted before getting a valid MOT certificate. At that stage, its nothing to do with insurance You could invalidate your insurance if you put a claim in if you have a decat however

    Because a exhaust is getting more gasses out quicker, breathing mods are forcing more air in and with out a adjustment to match on the fuelling side the breathing mods wont be at their best potential hence no real 'noticeable' performance gain

    Search Autotrader for a reg plate that matches your engine and quote that. They dont want a inside leg measurment, just a guide so they know what their looking for.

    LOL R5's are awsome cars. Tons of potential and deserve the up most respect especially when fettled.....but in standard trim they aint much versus the new breed of Reno hot hatch Crank the boost and its a whole different ball game though

    Golf is the sensible choice. It does exactly what it says on the tin and is well built. Its the play safe option here. If you want to ditch the tank top and be a bit more 'look at me', then get the Clio Clio will put more of a smile on your face when you open the garage door on a morning.

    Welcome to the site mate Gearbox is fine unless your running silly bhp and only then is there a question mark over its strength. All depends on your driving style at the end of the day
