Go for a Jap style light weight rim. I belive they fit Clio's, would look kool plus are different

Yeah car went in for a remap and to check out the cam timing which my local Reno dealer clamied was out but it looks more like they never even looked at the car as it seems spot on !!

IMO the standard throttle body and cable (mk1 172) set up is a poor design.
If a car starts to rev up first check to see that the throttle body is going back fully to the idle position. If its not it will most likely be a fraid cable or knackered throttle body spring.

Yes it can be adjusted but not by a massive amount.
