Just went a run, turned the engine off then tried to start it again and nothing !!
I did the keeping the key turned thing and it didnt work so i decided to try the spare key, went and got it, tried the old key 1st just to make sure it was still not going to work and the bloody thing fired...

Its sitting in the coldest part of the engine which is good but the size of filter is worrying. Hope this venturi effect really does work for them or there might even be a loss in power! lol

I have to agree with superfastdan on this one even after reading the below link on the venturi effect. Its just a 100 odd pound IK at the end of the day...
Buy a Haynes manual and check the possible area's that have been mentioned.

Some folk say its the way to go uprating the cold air feed on the standard air box, others prefer IK's.
How can a cable be shot?? it either works or its snapped and then obviously wont work at all.
Try setting off in 3rd gear and see if your clutch is worn out.
i bought my cold air feed from Homebase for just under £10.
Its that stretchy metal stuff basically the same as what Green do but stronger.
