Pretty much what Gaz says, although I tend to spread the polish on speed 1 to ensure total coverage and then only go up to about speed 4 or 5 max. 6 would shake my arm off I think! ;)
Yes... I am aware Jeffs is a spray thank you! But not sure if it is the viscosity of the Blitz or the nozzle on the bottle but it sort of ejaculates (best descriptive term I can think of!) over the car, rather than being a nice spray like the Jeffs for example. I normally spray it directly onto...
I don't like the spray of the Blitz though, it goes EVERYWHERE! I really like how it looks though, and works really well with caranuba waxes. That and the Jeffs are my favourite sealants I think.
If its a customer of friends cars I use CG Wheel Guard as it cleans the wheels up nicely and protects them fairly well.
On my own or famillies cars I normally clean using SRP then EGP as Rich says, although on the 172 I currently have SRP, EGP, 2 layers of JetSeal and some Collinites! Should...
Don't think so no, mine certainly didn't when the driver's window was smashed and had to be replaced, think I just paid a £40 excess. Might smash my front windscreen next, has a little annoying chip in it!
I found it helped to give the bottle an initial squeeze to get the suds forming, once the water rushes through it takes off. It was sadly quite fun using it!
I love the stuff, prefer the finish it leaves and quicker and easier to use than the EGP.
After using the Jetseal sample Riz sent me on my wheels I will be ordering this next time I need a durable sealant, plus it looked ultra glossy.
I got mine today and used it on the Evo I was working on... really pleased with it actually! LOTS of suds, I was using CG Maxi Suds then followed up with a mit and Extreme Body Wash n Wax.
For £8 I think its a bargain.
I have a cabinet rescued from an office but its really good as it has shelves inside and is really solid. Stuff like hose, vacuum, transformer, wires, buckets etc I just keep to one side of the garage. Would ideally get a bigger garage (as this is at my parent's house) and more storage. Either...
Lovely car mate, if it has the cup packs which I am guessing it does from the spoiler, then best Renault Sport options you can get in my opinion, that's including the R26 and R27 too.
Nice detail though anyway, nothing beats a freshly PCd black car!
Think the plastic may have changed colours, happens a lot on certain plastics as the polymers break down. My old microwave turned yellow-ish as it got older, don't think there is much you can do.
Unless it is just dirt... in which case you obviously can!;)
Very nice mate, the 197 is a car that keeps growing on me. I quite like the spoiler I have seen a few of them with, apart from that keep it standard I reckon, don't think the anthracite R27 would add that much for the amount they would cost you.
Good job!
Well what can I say, you must all be s**t as using pressure washers then lol.
Must have done at least 100 cars this way and never had a single problem to date, just saved loads of time and effort.
You can disagree with this method but as I say, I have done it loads of time and had no problems...
I guess in the wrong hands you could cause damage, but as I said I have never caused any damage on customers cars when I worked at a dealership and that was with the most powerfull washer and on high temperatures.
As long as you stand back a bit and don't aim directly at wires it should be...
The same problem seems to be happening whether I print in Word, from the net, anywhere basically!
So frustrating as I have loads of academic stuff to print and it is delaying me! AAAAH! So frustrating.
Will the driver be on the net you reckon as have no idea where the original disc is?
I think this whole being scared of water in the engine approach is a load of pish.. I have pressure washed loads of cars of different types and never had a single issue afterwards.
To get the worst of the muck off I would spray something like AG Engine & Machine cleaner on first, leave to soak...
If it was working fine 15 minutes ago and I haven't changed anything though it can't be a sudden build up though I would have thought?
Also the text I am trying to print is missing... although the text for the tables etc is printing. This is really weird, even by PC standards!
I have an Epson Stylus C66...just replaced the black cartridge and first document I printed came out fine. Didn't change a thing, but now all the text is being printed in red and not black?!
Any ideas/ suggestions!?
Cheers.
Yes put the sealant on before the wax, remember you can layer the EGP so might be worth doing a couple of layers followed by a couple of layers of the Collinite, should give you very good protection with that combo.
People use machine polishers mainly for polishing and defect removal, you can...
Everything does break! Well anything electrical anyway, usually just after the warranty has run out!
Wouldn't surprise me if the recall rate was over 33% though, everyone I know has replaced there's! You are right though it is very poor, especially considering how much it is costing MS outright...
