Not really any point getting P21s if you are buying a Swissvax product. Depends what colour car you have, Onyx works great on black and darker colour cars.
He started it lol.
I don't really care, my point is that you don't want a mollested vehicle, especially when it is French and especially when it is French and high performance.
If he wants to argue that buying a poor example is no bad thing then thats his funeral.
Er, there is also a difference between a one off red-line and a sustained abuse of the vehicle's mechanics.
Its like having one cigarette versus smoking as a habit.
Er, not what I was saying actually.
Thrashed = revved hard from cold, over bumps and uneven surfaces at high speeds, not taken good care of in general etc.
This is in contrast to be driven fast/well - which of course I do.
Renaults are poorly built enough without buying a poor example of one...
I seem to remember him posting a video of him ragging the hell out of the car too...and whilst obviously it is a serious performing car, the prospect of owning a Cat D car which has been treated like a b**ch since being fixed does not appeal.
Not saying Subway is a bad guy, I don't know him...
Totally dishonest to try selling a CAT D car without so much as a mention, yes you should always do an HPI check first but to not mention something like that is taking the piss as it will affect the resale value so massively
If most people are honest and mention damage up front then not...
Thinking of getting a new Nano (couldn't really justify spending over twice the price on a Touch, will wait for one with a bigger memory to come out down the line) but can't find any decent cases or sports bands for them anywhere so I can wear it at the gym.
Does anyone know any decent items...
I was on £300 a week almost when I worked at a place, which is apparently quite decent. But I worked my nuts off for 50 hours a week, when you break it down I would have probably made the same or more at Tescos...
£300 - materials - cost of advertising - travelling expenses - tax - specialist insurance policy (not strictly necessary) = not great.
Factor in your not going to be doing regular work every day for this money then your not going to be the next Branson any time soon.
Not really, no.
Only way to make a decent package in my opinion is do it on volume and reducing quality, but there are chains that do that already, and someone will always undercut you.
Premium detailing pays well but you have to be well established to get decent prices. I do it to make some...
One problem with that - I don't have a DVD burner on my laptop :dapprove:
So so annoying...there are other region 1 DVDs I want too, like Ren and Stimpy...why don't we have European versions yet?!
Cool thanks for the suggestions guys. I used to have DVD Shrink actually, but IIRC files are split into 1GB maximum, so a 3GB movie for example is 3 separate files. I just want to watch some great fighting on a huge TV...is that so much to ask?!? ;)
Was just about to order a DVD I really wanted (Samurai Jack season 4, absolutely amazing if you haven't seen it!!) and noticed it was "Region 1, NTSC" and requires a multiregion or NTSC DVD player to use it. Will this work on my laptop or PS2 does anyone know? If not I'm gutted as can't seem to...
Seems to work fine. One thing I have learnt that really makes a difference how well products work is the time left curing and in between layers. Not sure if you read when I did it all the layers I put on, but it was "several"... I left a day in between layers of sealants, and two days between...
Onyx is brilliant. I have an undercoat of 476s under mine and seems to be working very well together...just cleaned and QDd mine yesterday, after about a month of driving and being left in the rain, came up spotless again, and looks just lke it has been waxed - thats why I bought it really, as...
Just a mention about the CG Wet Mirror Finish...I tried working this into my prep a few weeks ago. I used it over a base of SRP and EGP, but in hindsight you should use it before the EGP as it is very very mildy abrasive (a lot less than SRP for example) yet might reduce the life of the EGP (or...
476s all round...got mine topped with Ony right now and seems to be a great combo. Just washed it and looked mint even before I wiped over with some QD.
Works great on wheels and windows too - but if you use on windows make sure to work VERY thin and wipe off properly, otherwise it tends to...
Acids and alkalines are both bad the further you move away from being Ph neutral, so a strong alkali and acid will both be bad. Point is don't use strong alkalines or acids on your car if you don't want to damage the paint!
Have to say this is actually pretty cool...any ideas of when the 32gb version will be out? Think the wifi ability combined with the touch screen looks great...
One thing though, as you are able to download tunes via wifi onto the iPod Touch, will you then be able to upload these onto your PC...
You feel a bit weird polishing your pedals...but has to be done every now and then? Whats everyones tricks to clean in the holes though, I find them a right nightmare!
As I am sure I have said many times... I have pressure washed countless engine bays and never had a single problem, both on old and new cars of many different makes. Just don't get too close or focus on an area for long, just glancing shots.
If your not a total troglodyte you will be fine.
Blitz is a great product to use in terms of looks, ease of use and function. One of my favourites in fact.
My favourite QD so far is definitely the Sonus one, quite expensive I guess but zero streaking on black and really brings out a high gloss.
Cool thanks for the suggestions guys.
As stated, filtered water means less/ no drying - pretty handy if you don't want to spend your sunday afternoon hanging around a petrol station in Leeds!!
Which Morrisons do you mean, not the one in town obviously, but not entirely sure where another is...
Hi...back in Leeds and my new place has no tap, so looking to just wash the car somewhere then bring it home to "finish off" e.g. spend hours and hours cleaning...
The place I used to go to use their hose is closed, does anyone else know or recommend anywhere? I know there are loads of "hand...
