I've got Gliptone, works really well on decent leather like people have said. Clio seats are pants though in terms of the "leather" used, the wallets you buy from Primark are a better standard!
Smells lovely too though.
It seems stupid that in the quest for perfecting the PC they have made one important dimension a lot worse. Pursuit of making it cheaper has made it a worse product, which is a shame as with better design it could be balanced a lot better and work safer.
Ah well, I have a PC so not all that...
Done on other forums so why not here:
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPOST.
I would do it for you as I am in Leeds at the moment, except my PC and polish range are about 150 miles away so probably not much good to you at the moment mate, sorry!
The glaze will add to the looks, yes, and should fit in the routine after the SRP and before the EGP like you say.
However, it will more than likely (Without doing a molecular test!) reduce the longevity of the EGP protection as it won't bond to the SRP as well. Having said that the EGP will...
I recently bought the CG MF Cleaner and have to say it works a lot better than simply washing in a machine, as they come out cleaner and softer.
And that was only soaking the cloths in a tub with some hot water and the cleaner...would work even better in a machine I would imagine. I had some...
Onyx is brilliant, have a layer on mine and even after a drive to Leeds, being parked in the rain and not being washed for getting on two weeks now still shines like a MF (not a microfibre...)
PS3 on paper is a better console spec wise but 360 all the way for games - both at present and the next year or so at least.
Only Ps3 game that looks interesting to me at the moment is Haze. 360 has a dozen great games at least already and plenty more on the horizon. Plus Live is still where...
But if he merks it then he has spent all the money on the aerosols which may cost more to repair...
BUT after my DIY repair a couple of weeks back I would say have a go, especially as its in a fairly inconspicuos area...
In the words of our lord, Arnie: Do it, do it now!
As I just posted in that other alloy related thread, the SRP, EGP route will be great but topped up with Collinites makes it look and last even better.
If thats the stuff Car Wash N Wax used to sell then apparently its not all that and a bag of Revels. The Wheel Guard they now stock is good for an all in one product, e.g. cleans, polishes and seals. But as it cleans it means it cannot be layered for added protection.
Poorboys Wheel Sealant is...
That actually looks pretty disappointing IMO. The lack of colour coded side strips and mirrors looks cheap, and the wheels don't look a patch on the old 172 and 182 wheels.
Will probably be a great ride though - still like the 172 and 182 looks better though.
Like Rich I don't really use the screen wash, even if the car hasn't been cleaned for a while and its covered in dust!
Remember seeing a specialist product to use though somewhere, maybe Polished Bliss?
Got hangover, too lazy to look myself I am afraid!
Swirls are normally in the paint.
Having said that, I recently clayed my car with the old Sonus Green and noticed some marks had been removed so presuming they were fine traces of products that hadn't been 100% removed, or else just very fine marks.
But yes, swirls in the paint need...
Yeah worked really well with the wet sanding on my door - especially considering where the damage was.
Just make sure you have a good polish/es and preferably a PC or rotary to follow it up with though as left some horrible looking fine scratches.
Also, be very gentle with the paper. Imagine...
Blitz is really good - not used Jeffs Caranuba Spray Sealant but the Blitz is easier to use than the Accrylic version.
As Ali says, the Blitz brings out the flake well too on metallic finishes and really easy to remove.
^ Not sure what you are doing wrong then, I have used Maxi Suds and now Snow Foam in mine and works a treat. Do you have the dilution rate set to full? Otherwise try a gentle shake and squeeze of the bottle to get the flow going.
Otherwise, perhaps your hose isn't at a high enough pressure?
Did he call you a stupid t**t as well as fine you? Here is a simple little line I have used before to help me remember when to use the fog lights:
FOG LIGHTS ARE FOR WHEN THERE IS FOG.
I had Sonic 3 which plugged into Sonic and Knuckles, I remember playing the game to death to unlock all the emeralds which gave all the characters super or hyper powers depending if you had them all.
Doomsday zone, the boss specifically, was absolutely solid as I remember with its gravity...
I have a Super Spray and make loads of foam... and thats not even using that much shampoo in the bottle, probably only fill it about 10% and the rest with warm water.
Loads of suds - £8 very well spent in my opinion.
Will try and upload a photo later to show how much I normally get.
^ AG SRP isn't really abrasive at all, its more of a finishing polish and doesn't really have any cutting properties.
And seriously T Cut is rubbish - a car I did last week had been mullered by a car trying to remove a mark with it and looked like he had used sandpaper on it. There are much...
A clay bar may remove it - well a grey bar anyway. I was working on a Jag a couple of weeks ago that had come into contact with a red car and the clay took the red paint off in no time.
Alternatively a polish preferably by machine and with a decent polish - e.g. not T Cut - as this may remove...
Some bird poo just seems to bond like cement, my car had a bad etch mark on the bonnet when I got it and even after polishing it several times you can still see it faintly in there.
I carry a mf towel and some QD so I can wipe any off as soon as I notice it.
I think it looks cool but I am really disappointed with my iPod as it just doesn't work, and is constantly freezing. I now just have it hooked up to the iPod connector on my car's HU.
For me watching films or TV on the go doesn't really interest me, although if I was having to commute or...
