Think a Prospeed zorst is something else im gonna add to the shopping list of wants lol.
Ive had nothing but problems with my Magnex system coming off its rear hanger. Far far to heavy for the car.....only good thing is its a good quality built system and its quiet.
Its the same with...
Ten times better looking than the crappy looking Magnex / Scorpion etc out the box ones !!
Do they supply the 182 plastic surround as well when you get the zorst fitted ??
Have you got fixed runners or tilt and slide jobs ?? What seats have you got if you dont mind me asking Fred??
From what ive heard the 172 seats are really heavy so was thinking of ditching them for some light weight ones. Just dont want to make the car a pain, literally, lol, to live with.
Another advantage of it not being connected is the Viper makes a hell of a rip on engine load. People tend to duck for cover half a mile down the road lol
My mk1 172's decided it wants to idle at 1500 rpm. Sometimes it'll pick up to 2 as well.
From cold it idle's perfectly how it should.
Ive cleaned the throttle body out and that seems fine.
One strange thing when im stationary is when its reving up, if i let the clutch out to the...
If you want something that your gonna tune the b*lls off later on i'd go the Seat.
If not go 182. You'll save yourself cash plus there's far too many bread vans out there as it is !! lol
I know Dave, ive already put the link up ya tube lol
Speaking to Andy GDI and he said that its better not to connect the Viper cold air feed pipe up but to instead have it pointing near it so it sucks air in.......about a 5bhp less having it plumbed up on the rollers apparently...
Piper X do a cold air feed kit yes, but not sure how much.
I only wanted the annodised bit and that price of £26 includes about 8 quid worth of P+P !!!
Can you buy direct from Piper X anyway??
Wires under the seat can come lose and that can cause the airbag light to come on.
Start the car up and have a play with the connectors and see if you can make it go out
Its not really the shield its self, just the pin thing is errrrr not there anymore so there isnt anything to bolt it up to !!
No where even to tie wrap / wire it up near by either.....its like no mans land under the car at that point hahaha
My heat shield decided to drop down on to the exhaust just above the bend where the back axle beam is last night.
Dont know how but the retaining pin to fasten it up is no longer there !!
This leaves me with a problem of fastening it back up. Went under the car and there's no way of...
I can see both sides of the argument on this. 6k is a hell of a lot of money but at the end of the day thats his choice right or wrong sensible or not. Meggerman also is in titled to his own opinion.
Going back to the car front, the stage 2 manifold. Is that a heavier worked inlet or the re...
Well my mate worked for 3 years, up till a last week, at a crash repair centre and they never bothered looking for chips and messing with the ecu's.
Most common turn down of a payments was lads coming in with their cars slammed on the deck and body kitted up to the hilt !!
Would be difficult for the police / insurance to prove that you didnt just borrow mummy's car and bob out to the shops and have a crash so you'd have to be unlucky to get done for fraud.
Its not a case of getting one over on the system, its a simple fact of young lads want fast cars on the...
Fact is tho that not many Clio Sport owners are gonna be spending X amount of money on LSD's and messing with the gear ratio's.
Realistically it'll just be a case of setting the suspension and making the thing as light as poss.
Getting the power down is part of the parcel, and the fun...
My mate's just about to turn 18 and after seeing how my 172 goes has decided to aim a bit higher than a Valver which he set his mind on and start on the 172 ladder.
Now he dosent mind going back with his olds on there policy for the privilege of owning one.
The car he'd want would be a...
Yeah i re-edited my post just before you posted bud. lol.....it says on what IK it was. Excuse whilst i take my blonde wig off haha
Would have thought there must be a spot of head, inlet and other work to crack well over 200 bhp ?
Didnt think a R-sport chip would be good enough to control...
Just spotted this for sale on Ebay. Anyone know if its running 210+bhp or is it another wild ebay ad claim ??

To give you a rough idea 195 / 50 tyres weigh about 10kg each so you'd be looking at 19 - 23kg for each Turini with tyre......hope my maths is right lol
