You'd be hard fetched to notice any dfference between a Eibach drop and standard ride height.
Are you planning on changing the shocks as well ??
I was a bit like you when i decided to drop my car a year back.
I'd read that Eibach give good handling with little or no drop and the other...

''I would preferably like to keep my plate P66WEE (PEEWEE!!) as its worth approx £600 but may inclued dependind on buyer.''
I wonder what the buyer has to do to qualify for his reg plate hahaha
Wonder who's doing that conversion hahaha
First i'd clean out the throttle body cos it might just be sticking. Ive had that sticking a few times but not as high as 1500 to 2000 rpm.
Also had a manifold gasket go and that made it rev up high to about 1500
20 thousand revs per minute !!! hell what you got under the bonnet there mate pmsl.
Could be a sticky throttle body, a gasket leaking or maybe a sensor
That'll be written off. Its a very expensive job to replace a rear quarter panel, [ mainly labour charges cos there's a lot of time involved ] the back pillar's mashed up, boot's took a hit and it'll need to be jigged.
At a guess i'd say a good half to 3 quarters worth of the cars value to...
Getting or trying to get to 200bhp isnt cheap m8.
With those mods you wont be far off 200.
Unless your keeping the car a while, i wouldnt take on TB or a Turbo convo....even bigger money !!
Geeezzzzzz
Bet without it, it would never get under 6 seconds either !!!
Well on the Gripper site there's 2 for the Clio.
One at £840 and the other at £1270
Not sure which would be the one to use for a 172 / 182 but if you could get one bought and fitted for 1.5k, it might be a...
Ive got a Janspeed de-cat and you really could feel the difference in performance !!
Well worth it imo.
MOT time is the only thing that might put folk off with either having to find somewhere who'll sneak it through or having to put the orig cat back on.
Roughly how much longer is a 182 manifold compaired to a 172 one ?? How much would i have to lop off the zorst ??
Also would the hangers have to be modded at all ??
I went to price a 182 manifold up from my local Renault dealer and they wanted 400+ !!!
You'll feel a difference with a de-cat, a induction kit and a exahust. Maybe best getting it remapped though if doing that. You'd be spending including re-map roughly £1200 - £1400
Add cams, £600ish head work £600ish and maybe say a 182 manifold and your looking about £2600 - £2800 for 200 bhp
No it won't make the car ''worse'' as you put it. The only thing it ''might'' do is run a little lean and to get the best out of it i'd personally get a re-map but you'd have to speak to Ben cos im not a expert.
I got mine done in conjunction with cam's head work etc etc
Its well worth...
No its all internal work. As for the insurance and the warranty even if they took the motor to bits they wouldnt be able to tell.
All it is shaving metal
Devil products always have been on the loud side.
No its very quiet. You can have a convo at any speed without having to shout !!
Ok its louder than having a cat but not loud enough to annoy. I do a lot of motorway miles and fast A roads and i never notice its there.
Mind you its...
