The answer is no depending on if the gasket has rusted. I had this same question last week. I went into the Reno dealer and on the zorst side is a metal coated type thing of a gasket which they said if it handnt rusted was ok to re-use on the decat. On the other side is a spring type kit...

They do them in a 6.5 but that means id be down grading the width

......they only do them in a offset of et35. Is this pushing it on the rubbing front or should i be ok ??? Cars been lowered 40 on Apex springs and the size of rims would be 7x15s cos i want it not to lose one drop of performance lol Also does anyone know the size of the centre bore ...

i paid 160 for mine colour coding.... they did a blinding job though was told also that if i was to paint the standard mk1 door handles the paint would crack off in time due to them being a moving part so i went to Reno and bought a pair or pre-primed mk2 door handles so not to risk a future...

i had the chance to buy a red demo mk1 172 but in the flesh and on a cloudy day the colour didnt stand out at all so i orded up a iceberg silver one...in the sun and all polished up it does look a nice colour although i still have no regrets going for silver

still wish id a gone for a yellow one

Ive got a Iceberg silver mk1. ive parked up to a titanium one and there isnt that much difference to the untrained eye. anyone know how many mk1s where made in Iceberg silver ?? Didnt think they where that rare to be honest.

Whats this tapping when using Piper Cams all about ??? Im slowly attempting to crack the magic 200bhp in mine and got the cams reprofiled in Novermber time but not had them fitted yet due to funds and me waiting on getting head work done. im a bit worried now :(
