Well I suppose it’s better to run them now and again but I just get the feeling with mine it is some contamination which caused it although that could be just coincidental.
Hopefully I will be able to pick a new one up today so I can get it on later

Cup.
I spent an hour in garage last night taking it off the car last night. There is something greasy or oily got into it I think. Whether that has shorted something inside I don’t know. Hopefully a replacement will be all I need. I may swap battery too just to be on safe side.
I reversed the car out of the garage this aft to give it a little run round the block, it’s not been out for a few weeks.
It started ok and I left it ticking over for 5 mins then turned it off.
I went back to it half an hour later and when I turned the key, nothing ! No dash lights...
It’s very strange, Audi, Porsche and Lotus forums all rate them, all 3 of those no doubt pumping far more horses out than your lowly 182 and generally RWD too. Anyway stand by for a future review of them on the 1.4 turbo on the polo.
Yes guys but what are you doing with them, as just a daily runner tyre I don’t see any major issues. Other car forums don’t seem to have the same negative views
They are competitive on price anyway but doing 4 for price of 3 til Monday. I’ve just ordered a set of 215/40 17s for my lads Polo GT for £178.
Now I know they may not be up to Yoko standard but he doesn’t thrash about, drives 45 miles a day on motorway to work. He has Dunlop sport maxx on at...
This thread passed me by Paul, only just heard you were selling the RB. You made it a lovely car with your usual touch. I do think you perhaps should have held out for a bit more but a bird in the hand and all that.
See you soon mate
I set to today with Mrs A’s sewing machine. After much faffing I made a pair of pre tensioner covers for the Trendlines in my Cup. Fortunately I was able to use my Trophy ones as a pattern. Still 3 hours work though!
I’m pleased with the finished prototype though.

Thanks folks. I wouldn’t sell the Elise I’ve owned it since new and although I only use it for a couple of trips a year it’s always great to get out in it with the roof off. I’m going to have a drive in a couple of the cars I’m interested in and take it from there

As some of you will know I have 3 really nice examples but apart from a couple of trips out I've used none of them this year....or last year.....or the year before to any degree. I also have my Elise which I last used in March along with some other 2 wheeled stuff which similarly hasn't been...
Hi Jon yes [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15][emoji3][emoji3]. He tagged onto me after seeing a photo of my seats with your recaro adapters fitted in my cup. I've walked him through what he has to do as he's been trying to fit them with the Megane lowers still on. I guessed looking at the hole pattern...
I'm trying to help a lad out who's fitting some megane trendlines in his Clio . He's bought a pair of these adapters but can't make sense of them. I think he's probably got the wrong ones and needs the higher C shaped ones which bolt to the bottom of the recaro.
Can anyone shed any light
There are 2 parts to the price comparison procedure. The first part where you enter all your details on for example GoCompare. That does the searching but if you choose to go ahead with one of the quotes you are taken into that insurers portal. Often you are asked additional questions but...
No they are not unfortunately, it's been explored to death on the Clio 197/200 forum and the only way is to fit the necessary rack and associated wiring etc. The headlights look better cosmetically whether the cornering ones work or not though

The dunlops were on the wheels when I bought them, they only have about 2-3mm on them but thought I'd leave them on just to see the look on the car before buying any tyres.
The car is on eibachs. I won't be lowering it so looking like they might be coming off
Thanks boys. Sorted. Somehow it was really out of kilter. As you've said, there is a coloured dot in the top left corner, it was blue, I turned the collar til it went yellow.....bingo. Thanks again
I know there are various threads on this but I can't understand why I have the fault
I fitted a retrimmed snappy wheel so all I did was take the old wheel off and put the snappy wheel on.
I can only presume something in the sensor position unit the wheel bolts onto has moved but there seems...
I fitted these today. I'm not sure whether I like them or not, going to give them a chance and if not they will be back up for sale !
