I'm looking at a set of Speedline 2118s. 15s for my 182 Cup. Obviously fitting the same width and aspect ratio as the tyre on the standard 16s (195/45) is going to throw my speedo out. To get the right rolling diameter I think 195/50 x15 put me somewhere near, using some calculations I reckon...
I picked up a couple of mint trendlines and had Snappy sort my wheel. Got them into the Cup yesterday. Very pleased with the result

I'm looking at buying a pair of Megane trendlines to put in my 182 Cup. They are the ones with the black bolsters and blue alcantara base and back. The seats come with the Clio frames and runners. The only thing they don't appear to have is the little pre tensioner pocket type covers but looking...
Don't be misled by the "poverty spec" tag. If it is a genuine "lightweight" original cup with the cloth interior then it is a far less common car than the "full fat" car. I would argue (because I own one [emoji3]) that the Cup is a better purchase than a full fat one.

I'm sending a 182 cup wheel off to snappy for a trim. I'm a bit limited for ideas given the cup wheel has no thumb pads. It is in sort if 4 segments around the rim though.
I don't like alcantara/suede so not bothered about that. I quite like the perforated look. I wondered what it might look...

Thanks Paul, I found a pic of one you sold and guessed that's what you had done. I'm sending a cup wheel off to snappy and just want to make sure it was possible in case there is a problem with the buttons when I swap it over, I only want to swap them once really otherwise I would take my...
Paul, I've got to the point where I can remove the sprung plastic horn "horse shoe" shaped top part but I can't get to the cruise button screws which are under the lower half of the "horse shoe" horn ring. This is attached onto three posts (the ones the horn springs go over) each of which is...
I've done a search for this and can't find anything. I've just got a cup steering wheel of a guy, the base version with no thumb pads.
Now I'm going to send it off to snappy, my only concern is spending the money and when I fit it the cruise buttons are faulty or something.
Does anyone know if...
Thanks for that, seems to be a well balanced assessment, certainly of the trader situation. Think I'm going to sit on my hands fir now....probably regret it too
I keep dipping my toe in the V6 water but I fear I am possibly a couple of years late to the party. Cars which have been sitting in ads for ages at £30k could have been had back then for less than £20k. Tom at Divine even has one at nearly £60k !!!
There seems to be very little moving in the...
Your question on the Trophy forum is a bit clearer than this one so you will probably get the answer you want [emoji106]

I guess they will all give you a rough Idea of what primer, base and clearcoat thickness you have but that will be a combined reading of all 3 components. You will still have to go steady if you are wet sanding or using a heavy compound as once you strike through the clearcoat it's back to the...
Got round to taking the roof strips off the Cup today, I did it on my Trophy and managed to break 6 out of the 8 clips but learned from that one! Got the strips off and the clips off the pegs without breaking any.
Anyway job done, strips off, clips off the roof, separated the rubber backs off...
There must be a couple of differently manufactured ones then, I got mine for my Trophy brand new from Renault and it doesn't have that marking, also I'm sure the ends are sort of closed, not an open C shape.
