Mine ran 18.3 qtr mile as standard on 15s on a hot day last year, now running full powerflow system with decat, straight thro jobby, decent filter and loads of cold air feeds, reckon itll run mid 17s now, around 10 to 60 on a cold day.
Anyone going up Pod on 25th, first one of the year...
The Maxim S did have a closer ratio box meaning it was slightly quicker to 60 then a standard RT, you also get sports seats and decent brakes but its another insurance group higher as well.
Dont bother with the 1.8RT, there naff, higher insurance for something which is no faster then a 1.4...
Ah rate, cheers Matt, might have to invest in some of that then, Ill try owt to get the bloody things clean, brake dust just seems to stick to em like cum on a pillow!
For once it sounds like Renault know what there on about. Lowering the suspension will cause the roof to flex more, with the ice I can hear it cracking all the time since its been lowered, never did it once before.
ROFL!!! £4200 for a j plate?!?!?! A well known song by Ozzy comes to mind, Im just a dreamer...
£1200 max for a j plate and its gotta be in absolutly prestine condition for that.
Aye, all seemed to go to pot after the turbos went on, although torque figures were still out on everything, i was 2nd on and no way does me 1.4 produce 109ft/lb torque!!! BHP prob right tho, 89bhp sounds about rate, bhp for yours seemt about right Dean an all.
Spoilers are either hit and miss, you either like em or ya dont. I wasnt sure about mine after it came back from the body shop but its grown on me, been good quality an all, hasnt warped or cracked in the 3 years Ive had it on. At the time there was very few knocking about an all, either the...
Well kinda yeah, the Maxim S had the same interior as a valver as well as a different box, meaning it was slightly quicker to 60 but higher insurance.
Theres various phases of RTs if your looking at gettin 1.
Quick summary, phase 1, the earliest Clios, some didnt come with power steering...
Id have to agree with White16valver, Flux are a terrible terrible company. Took ages to get through to someone who was then not exactly polite on the phone, it took them 6 months to send out my documents after repeated phone calls and when I come to renew they wanted 200 quid more then I paid...
They work off the switch for the rear windscreen, switch that on and itll switch the heated wing mirrors on. Only 1 works on my RT though and thats the passenger side one, means I have to stick me hand out the window to clean the drivers one lol
Whats the point in a air conditioned glovebox????? If I wanted a fridge in my car Id buy a motorhome not a Clio!!!
Quote figures all day long, wait till it comes out then organise a track day and pit it against the mk1/mk2 172s, Cup, valvers and Willys of the world and see how it performs
Ive got a powerflow straight thro with decat and oval tail pipe, quite a nice sound, feels loads better without decat and its very good quality. Got it 2nd hand for hundred squid off someone on RSC, never had a problem with it even with it scraping on all the friggin ramps round my house. Some...
RS? You from another country and on about the Cup? Or some other RS like the Focus or summit.
Cheers Rich, them figures sound more appealing. Thing is, I cant live without any luxuries, want similar to what me RTs got now (leccy windows/mirrors, RCL, power steering). Hmmmmmm, guess Im just...
