Gutted for you, seeing this at blyton reminded me of my old sc clio. Ended up buying another one hoping to boost it in the future after seeing it pop flames all day. Glad you walked away from it though the rest is all replaceable metal, limbs not so much... could be interested in a few bits...
Door card off. Spot the obvious fault. Wrong fitting on the window reg or just wrong reg? Wires swapped and working fine now. Cheers for all the help people
yeah, new switch in, pass window is now working fine but drivers is still backwards. Add that with some funny wiper action ive had recently im leaning towards another fault. I will pull the door card off and take a look but i also have another uch to try.
ive been told they are available in different sizes. Euro only list a rhs gkn on for mine and a q-drive pass side and only in one size. Ill measure up and go from there.
Picked up a cup last week, the car seems to be leaking gearbox fluid from the bearing in the inner cv. Things to note are the bearing seems to slide up and down the driveshaft, im sure this isnt meant to happen? can anyone confirm? I mean the movement rather than the leak. Any way to fix it?
is it easy to get the wrong way round, like accidentally? ill see if i can find another switch pack but then that doesnt explain where the options for the pas window have gone when using CLIP?
I will remove it and take a look. Odd fault though I've seen similar one central but it was never sorted. Have got another Uchida ecu and key on the way to help diagnose with.
I have a strange problem with a clio cup i have just picked up. The drivers side window work but in reverse. Pressing down drives it up and up makes it go down.... the pas window does nothing. The passenger door switch also does nothing. No clicking or firing of relays to be heard. I have...
