mk1 golfs are the best for euro. i decked mine on coilovers it was on 15s tho but i took off the bumpers and arches, added euro rear arch gards single pod head lights sorted, euro looker. its now riding round on 13inch ats classics, and looks propper euro
mine was due on the the 9th of dec, was in last week for a new coilpack so got them to mot it at the same time, flew straight throug not even an advisory ;-)
plus the added bonus of been able to haggle, as long as i take my car to that dealership i never have to pay for the actual MOT so...
mine does it, but its a whistle not a squeek like a belt, same sorta sound u get on a turbo car with a restrictive exhaust just not as loud, put it down to the stock exhaust restricting the flow if exhaust gasses
i constantly see 172/182 s round gloucester way, always give people a nod, most peeps are old or female (who like to pull up alongside and give you a cheeky smile) but i never see any one sort of my age in these cars and no one sees me. plus ive not seen one clio cup round glos, neone nearby...
you do know that u can adjust the pressure that a turbo runs dnt you? its only as u keep refering to the gtt turbo cus it runs low boost... a stock turbo will run 15-16psi quite safley and thats quite high. i wouldnt bother converting ure engine to be honest. drop in a gtt lump or mabey a valver...
would i gain anything by fitting trophy turinis to my 172 cup that already has turinis? ive read that the trophy ones have a different offset?? what would i gain by doing this?
my 53 plate cup has 58k on and the exhaust is getting replaced next week under the original warrenty. there making it up go get it sorted, say uve spoken to another dealer and they say it is covered.
im in a 172 cup 03 and i can easily pull away from my sisters 97 vr6, mines stock hers has full zorst. and the cup just carries on pulling away with an indicated 140+mph b4 i back off and let her catch up
in the youtube vid sounds like its got nasty belt slip at high revs has that been sorted? are you keeping the charger as well as fitting turbos and going compound charged? now that would be mental
has any one got the part number for the 172 sticker that goes below the cup badge on the doors of my cup? ive lost the no.2 off both sides and renault cant find it on there computer, i have used the searh function but cant find what im looking for, all help appriciated
