If your engines the D7f I wouldnt suggest using the normal manifold as it sucks. You can get a 4-2-1 manifold from http://www.reichhard-motorsport.com at a price of 400euro's as for a turbo its prob best to get a light pressure turbo conversion done by a company - (can cost around 2k). If you want to do that you may aswell spending 3k getting a 172 lump put in or just buying a 172/faster car. Back to the manifold you would need a custom one made up for a turbo or just have a turbo downpip seperate iirc

  FOR SALE!!!
was going go for the 172 lump but i want sumthink diffrent and the hard part of the turboing is getting it all fitted was going to use a sep down pipe from the turbo to join back onto the exhasut dont want big poer gans after bout 100,120 bhp dont want anythink bigger than that am doing this as more of project to do my self as m8 can do the manifold mayb custom make out of steel if i ask nice as he got cad machines at his work etc was going use standerd r5 trubo as thats qutie low psi

  FOR SALE!!!
thort bout that 2 much cant assed with swaping engines i no getting it trubo even tho doing the work my self wont be cheap but aint seen a 1.2 turbo around so will be summithink diffrent and wil be same power as bout 1.6 so not silly power for sum one my age

you do know that u can adjust the pressure that a turbo runs dnt you? its only as u keep refering to the gtt turbo cus it runs low boost... a stock turbo will run 15-16psi quite safley and thats quite high. i wouldnt bother converting ure engine to be honest. drop in a gtt lump or mabey a valver and turbo convert that?

  FOR SALE!!!
i would but dont really wanna swap engine over just want to give myn more poke not to much poke and ya i do no turbos can be adjusted useing the gtt as a gide but will gone for the 1 which is easy to get to join to manifold i no there not uch point in doing it but going be a gd project over all as want a 182 when i get to bout 21 so this just for now

  FOR SALE!!!
how much would be looking get it remapped to be running boost

also ya i no need a oil feed but did not no how to sort this would 1 off anoter car work fine our would i need add a pump in my slump and use oil from tehre was thinking of adding oil cooler to to keep it all nice temps allso stop overheating do you guys think the idea is silly our good fun project

  FOR SALE!!!
cool thanks for info guys been looking on net think going go for a t25 trubo as they quite easy get hold of and my m8s is going to make me a stainless steel manifold at work with the t25 flange plate on it only porblem i have now is that the dump pipe of the turbo which join to the exhasut is triangle and i need the one which is same as the one used on the clio which would be easier go to exhasut place and get them make 1 with teh triangle join out getting the dump pipe with the triangle changed to same as clio how would i modify slump as well as looking do all the work my self eg fitting everythink

your engine has a plastic inlet manifold which will blow apart if you run any decent amount of boost, best bet is to get a new 1 made up, loads of people have looked into turbo'ing a 1.2 inc mylself but its just not worth it, i wanted to do it not for performance but just to be different but for the money id rather have the extra 50-80bhp the 172 engine wud give me for the same if not less money....

  FOR SALE!!!
ya as doinng all work my self aint a probelm and dont plan on running 2 much boost as dont want megga power jsut want more poke and the feeling of nowing its sumthink i dun etc is the no other inlet which would fit off 1.4 etc which aint plastic jsut in case thanks for info guys

You will have to get a custom inlet manifold made up. If you do let me know how much its costs as my one needs to be changed to stainless steel eventually

  FOR SALE!!!
ok ya i will maxx also my mate has asked what kind of size pipe he should use on the manifold i was thinking 2 inch what do you guys think

If its the inlet manifold then probably around the same size or a size that will match all the ports etc if you know what I mean.

I cant remember the tube sizes on the manifold prob about 1.5 inches or so. Hope the pics help a bit

  FOR SALE!!!
maxx have you got a old exhasut manifold gasket you could take a pic of our scan so my mate can get all the mesuments he needs spoke to him just says if you got the plans for the inlet he could get one put 2ghter for ya

Im afraid I dont have any old gaskets I just used the same one as the old manifold. I'll have to let you know in the future about the inlet as its prob best to get a spare one to work on. If you take your original manifold off you will see how crap it is compared to the one I have. As I said before its best to order it from the site as you got the assurance it will work properly etc :)

Im afraid I binned the old manifold as my car passed the mot with the system on - bar the de-cat. manifold fitted straight on. I got my mates garage to fit it all - had to take of a wheel, drive shaft iirc to get it to fit on. As the manifold is very close to an engine mount a custom bit of pipe was made to get it as far away as possible to stop any vibrating. It only vibrates a bit when reversing hard. Again passed the mot like it so not too bothered. May get custom engine mounts eventually anyway :)
