As far as i'm aware I have a cup alternator in front of me, the part number is 7700424596 but theres no female connector to just plug in from the standard loom.
This is it below the alternator on the bottom, with the normal aircon one at the top. I'm not convinced it is a cup one but if it fits...
I agree, looks like a lot of work gone into the engine bay on the first. Wasnt the shopping list on the RB standard for the media cars?and a few still running about with them on? Quick wheel change, job done!
White looks like the plug for PAS I think. You are defo gonna get extra plugs, like a good lot lol. Not sure why the alternator plug wouldnt fit... whats the alternator from? strange one!
Back breather pipe is the brake servo vacuum, one on front you can just block up you dont need it. Alternator plug looks fitted fine to me in that pic (connector with one wire). Long black round connector in your hand is the aircon
That black and yellow block connector attaches to a loom that goes to the rear axle, I think its for the xenon adjustor etc... only I think because I vaguely remember wondering the same thing. Dont think I ever connected it though.
Carbon canister can be taken out and thrown away, no real need...
Hey ph-reebone any idea what the part number for the cup alternator is? Cit-ren sent me a 'cup' alternator this morning with part number 7700436671 which I think matches your standard one.
All after I started ripping mine apart... dammit

Those socks will be grand to get you home, loose a bit of power compared to the sausage though. What about a couple of pairs of tights / socks if its just to get you home and wait a day or two?
Yep got sorted earlier cheers guys, just ordered the bolts from renault... apparantly the last there were unless I wanted to wait a week from france.
I chuckled at the parts man :)
At least its sorted
Cheers geesus I knew he was running different brackets so didn't even bother looking there, but at least thats the bolt numbers sorted.

Does anyone know what the part number is for the blue mount in this pic and the 3 bolts for it, the long bolt and basically any of the bolts in the pic :)
Reckon the blue mount is renault only or any chance GSF might have it?
Having said the above the Gaz at their lowest on front will be undriveable. I have a bit to go and im already pushing it as low as I can and be able to drive
