Nothing special I did it all myself though so I am fairly pleased. Did it last xmas but never got round to taking any pics. Really need a stealth shelf now as the mdf one I made is starting to bend under the weight...
I used the existing wiring from the point of the door opening only.
Everything else is uprated. It was either that or as you say drilling a hole, but I couldnt get a drill in there unless I removed the door and that wasnt something I was about to do.
If you are patient it is quite easy to...
By the way Hill Power kit is the only one to even consider.
It is quite expensive but you get what you pay for. I felt a bit of a trade off in terms of performance, a little less torque low down but a more urgency higher in the rev band.
To be honest I wouldnt buy one for the performance...
Just wanted to know how much damage (if at all) could be caused by water passing through the air filter into the throttle body. (Hill Power induction Kit)
Im not talking a major amount, but I forgot to close my bonnet yesterday and it absolutely pissed it down. For part of this time there...
I am going to lower my clio 55-60mm
The springs will obviously determine the front drop, but what I want to know is in terms of handling how much should I drop the back by?
Should the back be a bit higher than the front? Or should they be as level as possible?
I am going to be running 15s...

If you are posting images that are hosted on Yahoo etc make sure they are in a public folder that can be accessed by anybody. That should work.

I spoke to the guys at Torsion Tuning and they said that when they do the Gtt engine transplant they also put the calipers on the front and add big brakes.
If thats enough stopping power for a turbo engined clio, Im sure that it would be more than adequate for a 1.4 RT
Plus it would look...
Yeah think you will need either 16v or 5Gtt front calipers. These apparently are a straight swap and would then enable you to fit big disks.
I think there is a 5Gtt big disk kit for around £200 which looks very nice. Cant remember who from though BB or K-Tek or 5 Alive someone like that.
I have a 1.4 the bar was in pretty good condition, I gave everything a liberal coating of WD40 and put the plastic caps back on. I will give it a few days and repeat the proceedure for a week or two.
Basically the bolt seems to be the right size but I dont want to force it. Could you screw it...

I am going to lower my torsion bar soon and was wondering what size bolt do I need for screwing into the torsion bar?
I tried an M10 which is 80mm long, but it only goes in a couple of turns and then gets stuck. Do I need a smaller size or is it just a tight fit and needs screwing in really...
Not meaning to invade your post but I am lowering my clio soon and will be replacing both front and rear shocks.
I seem to remember someone saying (cant remember who or when) that there are differences bwetween some 1.4 RT front shocks. The struts are different in some way. Can anyone shed...
